This custom built bluewater cruiser was designed by naval architect Alan Warwick and built at the renowned McMullen & Wing yard in New Zealand for a very experienced yachtsman. Great effort was put into the design and construction to ensure absolute comfort and safety in all sea conditions, in any climate in the world. MAYA was built with five watertight bulkheads and the aluminum hull exceeds Det Nortske Veritas requirements. The interior joinery is beautifully crafted with native New Zealand tawa wood.

In 2014/2015, MAYA underwent extensive service and upgrades including: new oversized Navtech rod rigging, rig pulled and inspected, house batteries, upgraded electronics, 1200 GDP watermaker, (2) Maxwell windlasses, complete service to auxiliary and generator, and much more. MAYA must be seen to be fully appreciated.
