Chic interiors
Adam Lay is the creative mind behind MES AMIS’ chic contemporary interiors. Making lavish use of textured leather, oak, walnut and wenge throughout, the soothing neutral palette is offset by energizing pops of color with accent cushions and accessories. The upper and lower salons are flooded with natural light from the wrap-around windows, generous skylights and large horizontal portholes. On the lower level, luxurious cream sofas provide the perfect perch for ultra-comfortable movie nights in front of the wide-screen TV. There is also a beautiful formal dining space with seating for eight. Up a few stairs in the upper salon is a great spot for morning coffee and pastries or perfectly chilled sundowner cocktails and canapes taking in the fantastic views. There are comfy sofas, leather-clad coffee tables, and a handsome sit-up bar positioned to take in the action at the helm.
Stylish staterooms
Accommodations on MES AMIS are equally stylish, with four well-appointed staterooms providing relaxing retreats for up to 10 guests. The master stateroom takes up the yacht's full beam and includes a king-size bed, a separate lounge area, and a generous en-suite bathroom with his-and-hers sinks and beautiful onyx countertops. There are two VIP staterooms with queen-size beds and two twin cabins—one with two additional Pullman bunks ideal for children sharing. All of them feature elegant décor and sizeable en-suite shower rooms. One of the twin cabins can also be used as a dedicated gymnasium for onboard workouts.
Outdoor living
Decks on MES AMIS are beautifully uncluttered for optimal sailing but can be transformed into expansive spaces for relaxing and entertaining when she’s not under sail. Uniquely designed, her aft cockpit is flush with the rest of the deck to create one uninterrupted space for sunset soirees or dockside celebrations. The hard top shades a large table and built-in seating for alfresco dining. The space flows towards the stern, with built-in sun pads next to the dual helms and plenty of room for sun loungers or chairs on the expanse of teak. The transom folds out to create a substantial swimming platform with steps leading to the water’s edge with room enough for soaking in the rays and accessing MES AMIS’ impressive collection of toys and her 19’7” Smuggler tender. She also boasts paddleboards, an array of inflatable towable toys, wakeboards, water skis and two Seabobs.
