Main Deck Interior Guest Areas

Rebellious’ interior has been significantly refreshed over the past two years to give her the feel of a much newer vessel.

The yacht’s primary entrance is through double sliding glass doors midship on the starboard side which open to the Foyer on Main Deck level 2. Turning aft leads first to the Main Dining area and then further aft to the Salon. Forward along the Entry Foyer hall are entrances to the Galley, a Day Head, the Master Stateroom, and staircases upward to the Skylounge and Pilothouse, or downward to the lower Guest Staterooms.

Entry Foyer Details

  • The entry Foyer has variegated light marble flooring with a contrasting inlay design. Overhead is a mirrored ceiling with a complementary Cherrywood border.
  • Directly across from the entrance is a mirrored niche with recessed accent lighting. Open-weave floor-length curtains at the doors provide additional privacy when closed.
  • A comfortable circular stairwell winds upward to Skylounge and Pilothouse areas on the Boat Deck above. The staircase is carpeted and has a Cherrywood handrail and integral step lighting.
  • Nearby, a second staircase leads down to the lower deck and the four guest staterooms, as well as the 2nd of two laundry centers. It also has Cherrywood handrails and dimmable step lighting.
  • Just forward of the stairwells in the foyer is the starboard access to the Galley which can be completely isolated from the guest areas.
  • The Main Deck day head is located near the forward end of the foyer and has inlaid marble flooring, an onyx granite lavatory top with THG gold designer lavatory faucets.

Dining Area Details

  • An elegant 10 person formal dining table made of tempered ¾” thick glass rests on two large Cherrywood pedestals.
  • To port and starboard at opposite ends of the dining table are matching curved Cherrywood serving buffets with raised black granite tops. Ten custom dining chairs upholstered in rich blue chenille fabrics surround the table.
  • A vaulted ceiling above the table has a central chandelier surrounded by additional dimmable accent lighting.
  • The forward bulkhead wall is finished in dark bronze textured wallcovering and a 36” x 60” original contemporary art piece. Two side sconces and additional picture accent lighting are also dimmable to further set the perfect mood for dining.
  • A built-in SubZero 24 bottle wine cooler is hidden in a custom Cherrywood cabinet below the artwork.
  • Matching peninsula half-walls with integral cabinets are inlaid with burl wood tops. Cherrywood columns on each cabinet help separate the formal dining area from the main salon and enhance the feeling of expansiveness while effectively separating the rooms.

Main Salon

Just aft of the dining area is a spacious main salon with light-colored contemporary furnishings and tasteful decor. A large couch to port is grouped with two light-colored swivel-base upholstered chairs arranged around a dark Brazilian Sapele wood and glass cocktail table. To starboard are two additional oversized club chairs with a dark walnut end table and gold lamp in between. Further aft in the salon is a circular game table with four upholstered swivel chairs that are perfect for playing cards or enjoying an afternoon coffee or tea.

The main salon and dining areas are surrounded by large thermally-reflective windows for dramatic views of the water from almost any angle. All windows are fitted with chenille fabric valences at the tops which hide Hunter-Douglas Silhouette blinds which can be lowered for evening privacy or sun control. Along with both the port and starboard walls below the windows are extensive light cherry storage cabinets and serving areas. Aft are two custom-made three-drawer chests for table linens and tabletop décor. Full-width glass sliding doors in heavy polished stainless steel frames lead to the aft deck and are equipped with an automatic opening system that senses when a person approaches.

Located on the port side forward end of the salon is the contemporary single-person elevator that provides easy access to the Skylounge above.

Additional Main Salon Details

  • Built-in vertical bookcases to port and starboard have sea rails to keep books in place while underway.
  • The Entertainment center in the port peninsula cabinet includes a Control-4 remote control system, two Direct TV tuners, a 5 disc DVD/BlueRay player, a Marantz stereo with Surround Sound, and a countertop XM-Sirius tuner. A 47" LED TV drops down from the starboard overhead on a powered retraction device.
  • The PVE 36” diameter pneumatic elevator (manufactured in Miami, FL) with landings on the main deck and boat deck, is surprisingly unobtrusive with its aluminum and clear acrylic design. It requires virtually no maintenance.
  • The salon and dining areas are served by five upgraded air-handlers providing 6 tons of AC to those spaces.

Galley Equipment

Forward of the dining area to port is a state-of-the-art galley with professional appliances. A stew service area has been created in the forward part of the galley with an additional two-drawer dishwasher, under-counter refrigerator, sink, and additional plateware storage. Final Comments

Summary Comments

Rebellious is an especially well-made boat with very reliable mechanical systems that are easier to maintain than what is often found on other similar-sized yachts. A great deal of regular maintenance and overall upgrading has been done during 2019 and 2020 when the yacht could not be used due to the Pandemic.

She is in excellent condition now and could start cruising tomorrow!
