IMCS

CCTV SYSTEMS

• The Audio-Visual system was upgraded in 2016.  The system now comprises of Savant Control System that links all of the system components into one easy to use application.  The application is installed on iPads.  The host server for the system uses an Apple Mac Mini.  
• The system is networked through fibre optic cables from the Cisco core switches in the tank deck AV room to Cisco 48 port switches on each deck level, the back-haul between switches is 20GB. Each of the services to the individual locations is maintained in the tank deck AV room and directed through JAP port switching devices upon request from the iPad controls.  The AV room on the tank deck is kept at a very cold 18°C / 64°F. The individual components that make up the services of the complete system are listed below.
• It is possible to play the same music selection in any guest area whether inside or outside, or conversely have different music playing in different areas. So, adults in the upper salon, Wintergarden and upper deck aft listening to classic rock and the kids on the top deck, bridge deck playing Spotify favourites.

SATELLITE TV SYSTEM

• There are 10 x “Phoenix 2” Radio Stations that play a choice of genres to provide easy choice of music styles in all areas without the need to be constantly choosing the next song.  Each genre has enough songs that it would take 2 weeks to hear any song twice. The genres are: Blues, Buddha Bar, Classic Rock, Classical, Dance, Jazz, Lounge Music, Pop, Reggae & World Music

AIRPLAY    

• There are 5 x Airplay device services for the guests to select in all areas of the vessel.  This means the guests can connect directly to the system speakers

• There is a music server onboard with 10 x available streams in all guest areas.  The music library holds over 16,000 songs of various and varied genres.  This is completely separate to the Radio Station selections.  The Streams are outputted to 3 x autonomic devices which also have the ability to stream Spotify and radio stations from all over the world through the internet connection

BLUERAY DVD PLAYERS    

• There are two OPPO Blue-Ray DVD players onboard, one in the upper salon and the other in the cinema.  These are there for those moments that the guests come back to the boat with a new DVD and want to watch it immediately.  Of course, if they would prefer for it to be installed on the Kaleidescape, this can be done within about 25 mins

PLAYSTATION 4    

• There are two PlayStation 4 onboard with VR goggles located in the upper salon and cinema for that all-encompassing video game experience

LIGHTING CONTROL    

• The guest area lighting for each area or cabin can be controlled by the iPad through the Savant App

CINEMA    

• The cinema is situation on tank deck level and has 7 x 2-person luxurious loungers stepped up towards the back of the room. There is a Sony 4K protector located in the cinema shining onto a 240cm/94” screen

OUTDOOR CINEMA    

• An outdoor cinema screen and projector can be setup on the sun deck for evening of fresh air cinema.  The screen is viewable from both sides, so those in the pool can watch at the same time as those on the lounges

TVs    

• The TVs are mostly Samsung LCD screens throughout the guest area and cabins.  The bathroom TV are Aquavision waterproof displays
