FIRE PUMPS

• One electric sea water pump for fire fighting system will be installed, with capacity in accordance with Classification Society requirements.

BILGE PUMPS

• One electric pump for bilge system will be installed, with capacity in accordance with Classification Society requirements.

EMERGENCY BILGE/FIRE PUMPS

• An emergency motor driven fire/bilge pump with an indipendent manifold and line to draw the engine room and the adjacent compartments will be provided.

BILGE WATER SEPARATOR

• A bilge water separator will be fitted in the engine room, to comply with Flag State authority regulations. Capacity 0,15 m3 / hour, oil content less then 15 ppm in effluent water. The above bilge separator will be IMO and USCG compliant, including the treatment of the emulsions.

GALLEY HOOD FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

• A CO2 system will be installed in the galley hood extraction duct. Release will be manually activated with pressure switch to close the duct and to stop the extraction according to Class requirements.

ENGINE ROOM FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

• A fire extinguishing system (Aerosol type or equivalent) will be installed according to Manufacturer requirements, with adequate nozzles and a release handle situated in the emergency control panel on the main deck.

FUEL OIL TRANSFER PUMPS

• The transfer system shall allow to transfer from each tank to each other (service included) by means of n° 2 electric transfer pumps, one spare to the other.
• Suction diameter will be arranged according to pump’s supplier reccomendations. If necessary smaller pumps would be acceptable to prevent impeller cavitation and foaming.

FUEL OIL PURIFIER

• A fuel oil purifying system will be provided.
• Manual cleaning type will be chosen with switchboard equipped with hour meter.

FUEL OIL FILTERS

• One set of duplex fuel pre filter will be installed for each main engine and generator, with water alarm, manometer and by-pass valves to allow inspecting/replacing during normal cruising.

VARIOUS FUEL OIL PUMPS

• A tender fuel oil pump and filling station will be provided.

 FUEL OIL FLOW METER

• A fuel oil flow meter will be installed on the filling manifold and used for transfer and bunker line.

CLEAN OIL PUMP

• One electric clean oil pump will be installed to transfer lube oil from tank to user, complete with delivery hose, oil counter and gun.

DIRTY OIL PUMP

• One electric dirty oil pump will be installed to draw from the engine sump to the tank and from the tank (also sludge, bilge tank) to the shore line.

SANITARY SYSTEM

• One central vacuum system unit will be installed for sanitary system, with two pumps.
• Vacuum connection tanks will be installed in the lower decks to collect gray water from the users. They will be connected to the vacuum system, to the sewage tank.
• Ceramic floor mounted WC will be provided.

SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

• A chemical sewage treatment unit will be provided conforming to Marpol Annex IV.

SMELL SYSTEM

• An ozone supplying system will be provided to eliminate bad smell from blak/grey waters tank air vent.

AIR COMPRESSOR

• One electric air compressor will be installed, 250-440 l/min at 6.9 bar. One compressed air tank will be connected to the compressor.

COMPRESSED AIR BOTTLES

• One 100 l bottle for compressed air will be fitted in the engine room. One 25 l bottle for whistle will be provided in the wheelhouse.

CONDENSATE WATER DISCHARGE

• An automatic e/valve to discharge the condensed water will be provided for the 100 l air bottle.

FRESH WATER PUMPS

• Two electrical pumps with variable speed controllers will be provided, connected to the two fresh water tanks.
• The pumps are connected to the deck washing system by section valves.

HOT WATER PUMPS

• Two hot water circulating pumps will be installed to keep constant temperature in hot water ring. An electronic mixer with programmable thermal disinfection and disinfection verification will be installed.

WATER MAKERS

• One reverse osmosis water maker will be fitted with all necessary gauges, sand filters with back washing, high and low pressure pumps, automatic and weekly fresh water washing of the system.
• Nominal capacity 9,000 liters of water per day at 25° C sea water temperature.

WATER HEATERS

• Two electrical stainless steel heating tanks will be installed, each with 250 l capacity.

FRESH WATER STERILISER, FILTERS

• Water softner (for stern platform shore connection), active carbon filter, UV sterilizer and silver ions dosing station will be provided.

BATTERIES , GENERAL

• All batteries to be installed in battery boxes as per Classification Society requirements.

RADIO BATTERIES

• Essential communication and navigation equipment will be connected to a dedicated battery bank, according to Classification Society requirements.

SERVICE BATTERIES

• One group of 24V DC batteries for service. Capacity and type as per Builder’s design.

ENGINES STARTING BATTERIES

• Two groups of 24V DC batteries for main engines starting. Capacity and type as per engines Manufacturer requirements. Each group will be dedicated to one main engine.
• Two groups of 24V DC batteries for diesel generators starting. Capacity and type as per generators Manufacturer requirements. Each group will be dedicated to one diesel generator.
• One group of 24V DC batteries for main engines electronics. Capacity and type as per engine manufacturer requirements.
• N°1 group of batteries for motorpump’s starter.
• A selector for the cross connection between the two main engine starting battery will be provided as per Rules.

BATTERY CHARGERS

• Alternator will be provided on each main engine and generator charging the relative battery set.
• The following manual/automatic battery chargers will be installed:
• nr. 1 main engine battery sets charger provided with charging divider,
• nr. 1 diesel generator battery sets charger provided with charging divider,
• nr. 1 service battery set charger,
• nr. 1 emergency battery set charger,
• nr. 1 radio battery charger,
• nr. 1 MMEE electronic battery set charger.
• nr.1 automatic battery charger for motorpump’s starter.
• nr.1 backup battery charger, able to replace the emergency, service or the radio battery chargers in case of failure

ELASTIC COUPLING

• An torsional elastic coupling will connect gearbox to the main engineflywheel.

RESILIENT MOUNTS

• Main engines and reduction gear boxes will be flanged and elastically mounted on resilient mounts.

SHAFT LINES

• Shaft lines will be made of Aquamet 17.
• Shaft diameter will be as per Classification Society requirements.
• A suitable earthing device will be fitted on each shaft. Will be installed a system to manually block the shaft in case of engine failure.

SHAFT BEARINGS

• Shafting will be arranged with water lubricated bearings.

SHAFT SEALS

• An inflatable seal on mechanical seals will be provided inside hull.

VHF SYSTEM

• Nr. 1 VHF class D GMDSS with distress capabilities. Nr. 1 standard VHF.
• Nr. 1 remote control unit for VHF will be provided (crew mess). Nr. 4 handheld portable VHF.
• Nr. 2 portable VHF GMDSS devices will be provided.

X-BAND RADAR

• Nr. 1 IMO approved 12 kW X - band 4 ft antenna with ARPA and AIS interfaces will be provided. Included in integrated navigation system.

GYROCOMPASS

• Nr. 1 gyrocompass will be provided.

AUTOPILOT

• Nr. 1 autopilot will be provided, including nr. 1 NFU tiller interface, nr.1 rudder angle indicator and nr. 1 feedback unit.
• Nr. 1 take over system for nr. 3 control stations will be provided. Included in integrated navigation system.

GSM SYSTEM

• Nr. 1 GSM interface will be provided, to be connected to the VOIP system.

GPS SYSTEM

• N° 1 GPS systems IMO Approved . Included in integrated navigation system.

TELEPHONE SYSTEM

• N°1 VOIP telephone system for internal/external communications.

CHART PLOTTER

• Nr. 2 systems for charting will be provided. Included in integrated navigation system. Charts are not included.

Sat com system

• One Mini-C system GMDSS compliant will be provided.

HORN

• A pneumatic horn will be provided (Kahlenberg T-3A or equivalent). Controlled by the integrated navigation system. Buttons are available on the wings, it can be operated in emergency in the wheelhouse.

Navtex system

• A Navtex system will be provided

TELEPHONE UNITS

• Nr. 18 VOIP telephones, connected to the A/V network, will be provided.

EPIRB system

• One EPIRB system will be provided.

Radar reflectors

• One radar reflectors will be installed in the wheelhouse.
• nr. 1 UMTS – 4G (single SIM) connection system.

NAVIGATION LIGHTS

• Navigation lights (single light execution) will be provided. They will comply both for position and type with the International Regulation for Preventing Collision at Sea (Colreg 72). The navigation lights panel will be fed by 24VDC from emergency and service battery banks . Control of navigation lights in the wheelhouse monitor, with audible and visual alarm in case of failure. Included in integrated navigation system.

INTERCOM SYSTEM

• One Emergency Internal Communication system as per Classification Society and Flag Authority requirements will be fitted in wheelhouse and engine room.

SSB System

• One SSB System with DSC MF and with two antennas will be provided.

LOG

• One speed-log system will be provided . Included in integrated navigation system.

ECHOSOUNDER

• One echosounder will be provided with dual frequency transducer (depth, log, water temp) with PC interface for chart plotter software. Included in integrated navigation system.

MAGNETIC COMPASS

• One ceiling mounted magnetic compass will be provided.

WIND SYSTEM

• One wind system with no moving parts and with GPS, air temperature and pressure sensors will be supplied. Included in integrated navigation system.
• One NMEA data Display will be provided for Captain’s cabin

• The entertainment system is fully integrated and based on a CAT6 high speed network managed by a CRESTRON-based control network.
• The system is composed of some central racks where all the servers and the storage system devices are integrated; access to services goes through diverse terminals including AV entertainment clients, mobile and handheld devices.
• All the equipment is centralized outside cabins and saloon in order to maximize living and usable spaces.
• Audio video functionality
• Distribution of audio video streams coming from an internal storage system (video on demand). Function like audio video and images archival and indexing are available.

• Nr. 4 life rafts, nr. 2 for 12 people and nr. 2 for 10 people, fitted with hydrostatic release, will be provided on upper or sundeck.

LIFE BUOYS

• The following life buoys, with painted Yacht name and port of registry will be provided:
• nr. 2, with buoyant line, on main deck aft,
• nr. 2, with self-igniting light and self-activating smoke-signal, fitted outside the wheelhouse doors.

PARACHUTE FLARES

• Parachute flares and smoke signals will be provided, according to the rules.

• Nr. 22 life jackets will be stowed in the cabins.
• N° 4 life jackets for children will be provided. All of them will be of the approved type.
