• Motor Yacht Home has onboard total wireless coverage and wired coverage in administration areas. The internet is supplied to the Yacht in 3 different ways:
• 1: Via a landside connection. Either hardwired or from the Wifi antenna to connect to on share internet.
• 2: Mobile data from SIM cards in a Pepwave router/aggregator (up to 8 SIM cards: 4 in each antenna)
• 3: Vsat dual antenna setup allowing for single redundant satellite connection (Max 2mb)
• All internet is managed by a K4 catalyst switch. This device acts as a firewall and VLAN Manager.
• Sources, amplifiers, matrix switchers and control processors installed in 2 x fixed racks in the rack space in the crew mess.
• iPad control throughout and Apple TV in Upper and Main Lounge.
• Control 4 for our Audio and AV onboard. They have their own controller pad. We have one Master Ipad in Sky Lounge with a range of Apps. (eg. Spotify, pressreader etc).
