ELECTRICITY    

• Main power supply system: 400Vac, 50 Hz, 3 phase + neutral at earth
• The Lighting system: 230V AC, 50 Hz, 1 phase +  transformers 24V AC 
• Emergency, systems, lighting, navigation, pumps, radio system and services: 24V DC with dedicated battery packs. 
• Dedicated battery packs for main engines & dedicated battery pack for gensets 
• Shoreline connection: 400Vac 50 Hz, 3 phase 125 A with isolation transformer 
• Automatic parallel system between gensets shall be fitted 

The principal electric control panels are placed as follows: 

• Engine control room

• Secondary and local electrical panels are placed in different areas. 
• The earth system is integrated with the cathode protection system which is realised as a copper ring, placed along the hull, connected by several cross and headed to copper plates and zincs. 
• Proper LED lighting will be provided for inside accommodation and outside areas.

AIRCONDITIONING

• The main chiller unit consists of two PCWM 36002. Every chiller has two compressors and a rated cooling capacity of 144.000 BTU/h with heat pump, for a total capacity of 288.000 BTU/h. (Upgrade available as option). In general technical compartments and storages will be naturally ventilated to ensure adequate ventilation of each space to avoid overheating and condensation. Blowers will be installed on soft mountings in order to provide noise reduction
