A recipient of the World Yachts Trophy for Best Innovation, the CALIFORNIA 52’ (14.6m) by Waterdream is a masterpiece of Dutch craftsmanship. As a modern take on the classic 52’ weekender, she features exterior design and naval architecture by Vripack, clean, modernistic lines and a refined, fresh style. Placing the user at the center of her design has resulted in a well-thought-out layout and smart touches throughout. She makes for a smooth, comfortable ride; this is ensured by a unique set of hull lines as well as the centrally positioned helm and plush seating aboard.
To protect the helm from the elements, the CALIFORNIA 52 has a wrap-around windshield with an aluminum frame and 5mm-thick plexiglass panels, including a door to the foredeck, where guests will find two large sundeck cushions to both port and starboard for sunbathing and relaxing. Aft is a retractable swim platform with an integrated swim ladder and hand shower. An electrically operated Bimini provides shade when desired. A barbecue grill plate, fridge, wine cooler and sink are also available, as well as a large electrically operated tender garage for a 2.5m tender or Yamaha Superjet jet ski.
Below deck, the cabin is well airconditioned and elegantly designed. A large seating area in the forward cabin is convertible to a double bed, and the aft cabin contains two single beds with an option for a third bed in between. A chic bathroom contains a shower, electric toilet and basin. Her galley is equipped with a sink and storage space, combination fridge and freezer, Nespresso machine, ice maker and microwave oven.
CALIFORNIA 52 is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation equipment. As a chase boat, she can reach top speeds of 42 knots with 20 aboard, cruising comfortably at 25.
