Built in 2021 by Nautor Swan, ALIX is the third hull in the shipyard’s Swan 98 series, a line that represents Swan’s long-standing reputation for craftsmanship, performance and reliability. Based in Finland, Nautor Swan has been producing blue-water sailing yachts since 1966, and the 98 model continues that legacy with advanced carbon construction and refined Scandinavian design.
ALIX has been very carefully maintained since delivery and is offered in turnkey condition. Over 20 pages of bespoke upgrades have been implemented since launch, including enhanced navigation systems, upgraded AV equipment and refined soft furnishings in 2024. She is commercially coded and ready for private or charter use.
Designed by German Frers, ALIX features a powerful carbon fiber hull optimized for speed and comfort. She reaches over 12 knots under sail and performs exceptionally well on long passages, offering the kind of dependable, high-performance cruising that Swan yachts are known for. Her telescopic keel ranges from 4.9 to 3.2 meters, allowing her to easily move between deep-ocean sailing and shallow anchorages.
The exterior design is unmistakably Swan, showing sleek and balanced profile. The cockpit serves as the yacht’s central social area, with dining for up to ten and easy access to the aft beach club. Her fold-down transom reveals a full teak platform with a 4m tender garage, seabob storage and a rain shower.
The main cockpit offers dual helm stations, forward-facing sunpads and a wet bar, while the foredeck can be set up as a private lounging area when at anchor. The teak-laid decks flow naturally, allowing guests to move easily between spaces whether sailing or relaxing at anchor.
Inside, Italian designer Misa Poggi has created an interior defined by light oak paneling, durmast wood details and natural stone finishes. The overall atmosphere is calm, bright and echoes a Nordic-Italian fusion, with light woods, crisp linens and ocean-view portholes. Large hull windows and skylights bring in ample natural light. The main salon spans the full beam and combines a comfortable lounge, formal dining for eight and a seamless transition to the aft deck through glass doors.
Accommodation is provided for up to eight guests across four ensuite cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite aft offers a king-size bed, private study and walk-in wardrobe. Three additional double guest cabins provide two twins and a VIP queen berth, natural light and stand out detailing throughout. Crew quarters for four are positioned forward, with a galley and crew mess area.
As part of the Swan 98 series awarded “Best Superyacht Design” at the World Superyacht Award, ALIX carries the hallmarks of the brand’s excellence in both design and performance. She combines ocean-going capability, modern engineering and Scandinavian elegance in one well-balanced package. For a buyer seeking a sailing yacht capable of serious exploration without compromising on luxury or build quality, ALIX is an exceptional opportunity.
