Named after the First Nations’ deity of tides and sea creatures, the 135’ (41.1m) KOMOKWA promises heavenly cruising around the oceans of the world. Built in 2010 by the Taiwanese Horizon Yachts to a design penned by Espinosa Yacht Design, KOMOKWA sports impressive naval architecture from the celebrated Gregory C. Marshall. Her elegant dove grey hull and classic lines make her a smart choice for well-appointed charter vacations. Meticulously maintained and upgraded by an enthusiastic owner, KOMOKWA completed an extensive refit in 2021, leaving her in pristine charter-ready condition.
Interiors on KOMOKWA are the work of Claudia Drettman, who created bright and contemporary spaces featuring elegant light wood paneling and joinery and neutrally toned furnishing in beautiful fabrics and soft leathers. The expansive 230 square-foot main salon offers a fabulous lounge with comfy white sofas for enjoying drinks and socializing with friends before dinner in the formal dining area further forward. Large windows ensure plenty of natural light and lovely views. On the upper deck, the skylounge is a cozier space for relaxing with a wide-screen TV for onboard movie nights and a desk for when work emails beckon. A sliding glass door seamlessly connects the interior space to the outdoor lounge beyond for effortless indoor/outdoor entertaining.
When it’s time to call it a night, KOMOKWA accommodates up to 12 guests in five stunning staterooms, with an additional sixth cabin added by converting the gym. The master suite spans the full beam of the upper deck and includes a lovely private lounge and a generous his-and-hers ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in dressing room. The spacious VIP stateroom can be found on the main deck while the remaining three staterooms—one double and two twin cabins—can be found on the lower deck along with the convertible gym. All of them have spacious ensuite shower rooms and access to KOMOKWA’s impressive entertainment system.
When the outside world of fresh air and sunshine beckon, KOMOKWA’s expansive decks provide stylish spaces for sunbathing, entertaining and relaxing. The main aft deck has everything required for casual alfresco entertaining with a shaded dining table for 10, barbecue and widescreen TV so you never have to miss the big game. Adjacent to the skylounge, the upper deck offers a sumptuous lounge area for lazy mornings taking in the views and a cup of coffee before starting the day or afternoon cocktails as the sun nears the horizon. During the day, guests are likely to head to the sundeck for the best onboard views, a raised Jacuzzi, sun loungers for bronzing, a bar, comfy lounge seating and a further area for alfresco meals.
For fun on the water, the ample swimming platform provides easy access to KOMOKWA’s Sea-Doo Jet Ski, water skis, wakeboards, wakeskate, paddleboards and kayaks. With a Ribeye Prime tender, 18’ Castoldi Jet tender, and Novurania tender, there are plenty of opportunities for exploring tucked-away coves and beaches or quick jaunts to port. There is also a fully equipped gym and a sauna on KOMOKWA’s lower deck. Orchestrating all the action and ensuring seamless service is KOMOKWA’s dedicated and professional team of eight, who look after every detail for exceptional charter cruising.
