ZAFFIRO III is a 26.7m Sanlorenzo SX88 delivered in 2020, featuring a highly customized four-cabin layout, triple Volvo Penta IPS3 propulsion and a strong technical specification.
She is powered by 3 x Volvo Penta IPS3 1050 engines, cruising at approximately 20 knots with a top speed of 23 knots. Maneuvering is assisted by Volvo IPS joystick control at the main helm and aft docking station, a bow thruster and zero-speed electric stabilizers.
The SX88’s open stern arrangement gives ZAFFIRO III a large multifunctional aft deck for tender and toy storage or guest use at anchor. Equipment includes a hull-integrated 1,000kg hydraulic crane, hydraulic swim platform, custom teak dining table and eight Poltrona Frau dining chairs.
The flybridge is air-conditioned and fitted with an electrically opening hardtop, bar, grill, icemaker, electric hi-lo dining table, lounge seating and sun loungers.
The interior is finished in brushed matt grey spruce, brushed metal, parquet flooring and extensive Panda White marble. The main salon includes Living Divani and Cassina furniture, a mirrored Mondrian-style feature wall and formal dining with a Panda White marble table, wine cooler, refrigerator and icemaker. The galley is equipped with Miele appliances.
Accommodation is for up to nine guests in four ensuite cabins: a full-beam owner’s suite, VIP double and two twin cabins. The starboard twin includes a Pullman berth and the port cabin has a convertible bed arrangement. Crew accommodation is for up to three.
Notable equipment includes the Raymarine Diamond Navigation Package, Diamond Audio-Video Package, Sea Tel satellite TV system, 4G Wi-Fi, CCTV, Idromar 180 l/h watermaker, 6 underwater lights and Kohler 28kW and 35kW generators.
Recent upgrades include renewed exterior furniture in 2024, new custom teak tables, Poltrona Frau furniture, Cassina salon chairs, new sunshades and renewed anchor chains. The 2026 yard period included haul-out, antifouling, Propspeed, replacement of 22 hull anodes, generator and air-conditioning servicing, swimming-platform works, anchor windlass and gearbox works, and servicing of life-saving and fire-fighting equipment.
