The legendary sailing yacht TAMORY is an 87’ (26.58m) classic wishbone ketch built in 1952 by German shipyard Koser & Meyer. She can reach a maximum speed of eight knots, cruising comfortably at six, with an approximate range of 2,000 nautical miles. She is ideal for long-range cruising with family and is easy to manage with minimal crew. She can accommodate up to six guests in comfort across three cabins, with an additional crew cabin for three.

Classic yachting enthusiasts will be familiar with TAMORY. She has been moored in the Monaco Palace’s berth in Fontvieille for the last few decades. She is a yacht of special character and strong heritage; buyers would be owning a piece of yachting history. She has spent many years cruising the Mediterranean, once berthed in Costa Smeralda — and indeed, often features in photographs of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda’s early years.

Despite having undergone a number of refits over the years, including her most recent in 2000, TAMORY has managed to retain her classic, elegant styling. Her teak deck is in excellent condition, having been meticulously maintained over the years. Below deck, her interiors — all wood and cream with polished brass accents — are elegant and warm. Within the cockpit, six classic skylights on deck provide plenty of natural light and air. Her deck house features two L-shaped sofas alongside a chart table and dining table with additional seating. TAMORY’s salon is also charming and cozy with seating for up to six.

TAMORY’s Beaudouin engine was replaced in 2019 and she still has low engine hours – approximately 100. Her 19kW Kholer generator was serviced at 4,000 hours and her Idromar water maker at 1,134 hours in October 2021. She is currently available for viewings in Ventimiglia, Italy.
