MY STAR is a 115’ (35.1m) sailing yacht built in New Zealand by Alloy Yachts and launched in 1994. Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, with interiors by RWD, she combines a proven bluewater cruising history with extensive maintenance and upgrades under her current ownership. Built with an aluminum hull and carbon-fiber superstructure, MY STAR has demonstrated her offshore capabilities through a recent four-year circumnavigation. She has undergone major refit works in 2015, 2019 and 2023, alongside annual servicing and maintenance covering her propulsion, generators, hydraulics, steering, underwater equipment, rigging, sails, navigation systems and interior.
MY STAR accommodates eight guests in four en-suite staterooms, with a layout suited to both family cruising and extended passages. Located aft of the lower saloon, the accommodations include a full-beam master suite, a VIP double cabin to port, a twin cabin to starboard and an additional twin bunk cabin. The arrangement provides separate guest accommodations while maintaining convenient access to the yacht's main living areas.
The interior offers two distinct saloons. Entered through sliding glass doors, the raised saloon benefits from expansive windows with panoramic views and a tinted sliding sunroof that brings natural light and fresh air into the space. There is a guest bar to port while an elevated dining area to starboard seats eight guests. Forward, an interior helm station provides an additional navigation position. Steps lead to the lower saloon, where two seating areas, large aft-facing windows and an integrated television and multimedia system create a separate lounge for guests.
MY STAR's main cockpit features two seating arrangements and a dining area for eight, protected by a hardtop and designed to be fully enclosed in cooler or less favorable weather. Aft, fold-out chaise lounges integrated into the superstructure provide additional seating alongside a dedicated sunbathing area. Another sunbathing space above the hardtop offers an elevated position overlooking the surroundings. Wide, protected side decks connect the cockpit with the foredeck, where the tender is secured while underway.
At the stern, a swim platform provides direct access to the water, complemented by a folding passerelle, boarding ladder and freshwater shower.
MY STAR is VAT paid and has benefited from consistent private ownership maintenance, annual servicing and an extensive program of technical and interior upgrades.
