KAJAK, designed by Juan Carlos Espinosa and built to Det Norske DNV class standards to be MCA compliant, presents a remarkable opportunity for a yacht offered in turn-key condition following an extensive refit and various mechanical services. Delivered in 2008, she has undergone consistent updates and improvements, including a comprehensive refit in 2018 and most recently in 2022. The 2022 refit included a 15-year DNV class survey, new bottom paint, replacement of 19 through hull valves, installation of new AC chillers, headliners throughout, underwater lights and a new port generator.
Featuring a stunning high gloss cherry interior with marble, onyx, and granite accents, KAJAK offers luxurious accommodations for up to 10 guests across five staterooms. Two full-beam master cabins, one on the main deck and one on the bridge deck, along with a king-size VIP, a queen, and twin staterooms below ensure comfort and elegance for all guests.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines and equipped with twin 80KW Onan generators, zero-speed stabilizers, two 1800 GPD watermakers, and a shore power converter, KAJAK promises reliability and performance. Additional features include a commercial stainless steel galley, spacious outdoor aft decks, an oversized sundeck with a wet bar and Jacuzzi, and an air-conditioned dayhead.
From the aft deck, which features a nice alfresco dining setup, guests will enter the main salon through double pneumatic doors revealing KAJAK’s spaciousness and elegance, with a U-shaped couch, comfortable chairs and a well-appointed bar. The burle and cherry wood interior make the salon feel warm and cozy and the large windows offer great views.
Forward of the dining salon lies the fully equipped galley, while a stunning set of stairs leads up to the master stateroom and down to the guest areas. The full-beam master stateroom offers luxurious amenities, including his and her marbled bathrooms, an aft-facing king-size bed and ample storage. Below deck are three guest staterooms, including a twin stateroom, a king-size stateroom that can be converted to two double beds and a queen-size stateroom. There is another door that leads to the four crew cabins and crew mess.
Upstairs, the pilothouse and ship's office offer comprehensive navigation capabilities, with the bridge equipped for owner comfort underway. Aft of the pilothouse, the owner’s office leads to the stunning second master stateroom, complete with a centerline King-sized bed and spacious bathroom. This stateroom faces the aft deck seating area and the sliding door provides plenty of natural light.
Outside, a covered upper aft deck provides ample seating, while stairs lead to the enormous sundeck featuring a Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads, a bar, day head/shower, barbeque and upper dining area, ensuring endless enjoyment and relaxation for guests aboard KAJAK. There is a large garage for easy tender and toy storage and a spacious swim platform.
