Palmer Johnson is a go-to name in the world of luxury boatbuilding. The U.S. yard has launched some exceptional yachts over the years and among these is the 167.09-foot (51.13m) HELIOS 2. Joining the superyacht world in 2002, she is a commanding motor yacht with a dark-blue aluminum hull featuring a distinguished red stripe. She has a beam of 28.04-feet (8.64m) and a draft of 8.06-feet (2.59m). Stabilizers at anchor and underway ensure a steady cruise at speeds of 12 knots, with maximum speeds of 15 knots. The yacht’s design heritage is confirmed thanks to exterior design by Sparkman and Stephens, and interior design by Patrick Knowles Designs.
A FIRST-CLASS CHARTER
HELIOS 2 was refitted in 2019 and as such is in excellent condition to offer up to 10 guests a world-class charter. In summer she frequents the Mediterranean, and in winter she turns to the islands of the Caribbean. In both destinations her expert crew of 11 ensure diligent service and compelling itineraries. They can advise on the finest towns, restaurants, spas, beaches and boutiques to visit, along with incredible cultural, leisure and sporting activities.

HELIOS 2 has the best of all worlds: pedigree performance, modern amenities and classic style. Guests are welcomed to five elegant staterooms, three of which have king-sized beds (two of which are convertible), and two of which feature queen-sized beds. Space and comfort have been prioritized throughout. A great choice of outdoor seating and dining areas combine with sunbathing spaces and a deck Jacuzzi. A large tender is available for trips ashore, and a great choice of watersports equipment and water toys mean guests can make the most of the ocean. HELIOS 2 is powered by two Caterpillar engines and she is the ideal choice for family parties or groups of friends looking to explore the oceans in style.
