The ideal yacht for socializing and entertaining with family and friends, the 280-foot (85.6m) AQUILA is the perfect luxury charter yacht. What sets AQUILA apart from other superyachts in her class is her stunning refit by Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) and new interior by Susan Young. She now boastsample relaxation and dining areas throughout her guest spaces, along with all the creature comforts and amenities to keep even the most discerning of charter guests entertained.
AQUILA’s exterior may appear the same as her original build, however, RWD made subtle changes to the exterior layout. The forward sundeck features a new arrangement with a larger bar on the aft deck complementing the substantial lounge. A dedicated party deck now houses a DJ booth, AV system and disco lighting, along with a large cinema screen with surround sound. A Jacuzzi can also be found forward of the wellness center. The beach club now has a state-of-the-art gym, filled with natural light from the skylight in the deck above.
Refit to exacting standards, AQUILA’s interior by Susan Young has a traditional and balanced style with a contemporary twist. A beautiful fusion of classic dark wood paneling and earthy hues, with zany soft furnishings and tasteful lighting, combine to create an elegant and stylish interior. A grand central staircase connects the guest areas from the main deck up to the sundeck and features a stunning glass sculpture that cascades through its core. Other unique features include the main salon, where the dining area has been moved to the aft so that guests can enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Forward of the dining area is an enclosed cinema space, suspended on sound and vibration dampening pads to allow for the ultimate sound.
12 guests are accommodated in seven cabins, including a dedicated owner’s deck with owner’s salon, master stateroom and lounge area. Boasting panoramic views, the master stateroom leads onto a private 60-square-meter private deck. It also has its own hair salon, massage room and study. A further six well-appointed cabins, comprising four doubles and two twins, are located on the main deck. There is also a single cabin for nanny/ security staff.
