TURQUOISE is a 2017 Pachoud 60 with naval architecture by Roger Hill. Built as a Pacific cruiser, she combines the volume of a catamaran platform with a performance-oriented design. Her 20'9" (6.3m) beam creates a broad footprint for the main living spaces, while her foil design contributes to a top speed of 40 knots. Construction is epoxy composite, and power comes from twin MTU 8V 2000 M94 engines rated at 2,500hp each.
The main deck makes very good use of the beam. An open-plan arrangement brings together the helm, salon and galley, with the interior opening directly onto the cockpit. Rather than separating the galley from the social spaces, its aft position allows it to serve both the interior and exterior dining areas. Outside, there is dedicated aft-deck dining, while sun loungers on the foredeck provide a second area for guests underway or at anchor.
TURQUOISE accommodates eight guests across four cabins, with the accommodations divided between the two hulls. The master stateroom is positioned forward and has its own en-suite bathroom. A double cabin with an en-suite is located in the port hull, while the starboard hull contains two twin cabins sharing a bathroom. This arrangement keeps the guest accommodations separate from the main-deck social areas while making use of both hulls for sleeping space.
At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform provides access to the water and can be used for tender launching. TURQUOISE also has a tender garage and carries an OC tender with a 15hp four-stroke Mercury outboard, supported by an Atlas 2500 davit.
For extended cruising, TURQUOISE carries 9,000 liters of fuel and 1,000 liters of fresh water, with a range of 1,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. Onboard equipment includes an SRC Aqua Matic 1400-2 watermaker, Max Power CT300 bow thruster, Garmin navigation system, FLIR M364C night vision and Sonos audio system.
