Other Machinery
Fresh water system
Three electrical boilers will be provided, AC230 or 400 V, 1,5 KW, capacity 120 liters (32 gallons) each, located in the crew bilge area, they will be connected as follows:
- - two serving the crew compartment and guest accommodation.
- - one serving the Owner’s apartment, galley and captain’s cabin.
- The Jacuzzi pool will be equipped with a proper separate water heater.
- A fresh water supply pressure electronic system Gianneschi or equivalent for feeding the system will be installed. One of the two pumps will be stand-by to the other. The pumps will regulate the flow depending on the needs via a converter regulating system.
- The fresh water tanks will be located in the double bottom, guest area, levels same as in the fuel tanks.
- Filling line from shore connection shall be in the stern or side deck.
- Vent holes will discharge overboard.
- Suitable fresh water outlets will be fitted on all decks, one forward and one afterward on each deck, for deck washing by means of hoses.
- The aft bathing platform and the sun deck will be supplied with hot and cold water.
- Moreover, fresh water will be supplied to the wheelhouse windows’ wipers.
- Shore fresh water connection will be able to serve all users.
- One fresh water maker, brand Sea Recovery or Osmosea (Italy), capacity 7000 l/day (or equivalent) will be supplied.
- The fresh water maker will be connected to the monitoring system.
- The sea water suction will be in the garage bilge and provided with scoop and filters; it will be far from the black water treatment system outlet and on the other side of the hull.
- The fresh water maker is provided with four diaphragms that, in case of malfunctioning, can be individually spotted, which allows the water maker to keep on working.
- A fresh water softener and UV treatment will be installed also.
Remote closing fuel valve system
- A system for remote closing fuel valve will be installed around aft main deck as per Rules , showed in Safety plan.
- An oil pressure hand piston pump will be fitted out of the engine room and close to the firefighting
- FM200 station, and will drive automatic hydraulic closing valves on engine and generators fuel suction
Shore connection
- One 63 KVA, from 170 to 520 V input, single or three phase, 40-70 Hz, output voltage 400V AC three phase +neutral 50Hz shore connection to be provided in aft peak, able to guarantee all on-board uses.
- The shore connection box will contain the main switch, the necessary fuses, the phase switch and the phase sequence indicator.
Local switchboards
- Local switchboard will be installed as necessary into technical spaces in accommodation areas and wheelhouse.
- The switchboards will be equipped with automatic protection switches as per rules.
- Into wheelhouse a 24V DC distribution panel will be installed, in the switchboard will be placed all controls and protection magnetic circuit breakers for navigation apparatus.
- All switchboards shall be protected and properly ventilated.
Marine batteries
Seven sets of marine batteries to be placed in proper boxes and arranged near by the user:
- - 2 x 24 Volt sets –starting batteries - Each set will start one main engine
- - 2 x 24 Volt sets –starting batteries – Each set will start one main generator.
- - 1 x 24 Volt set – house batteries will be arranged for service/auxiliary use. These batteries will be charged by chargers, power from generators or shore power.
- - 1 x 24 Volt set – emergency batteries – the capacity will be as requested by Class.
- - 1 x 24 Volt set –batteries will be service for GMDSS– the capacity will be as requested
- by Class.
- - The starting batteries will be charged by main engines’ alternators and/or by a battery
- charger.
- The auxiliary batteries will be charged by a battery charger driven from main switchboard.
- The capacity of batteries will be defined with engines manufacturer and according to the power of utilizers.
- A battery at deck level will be installed for radio system emergency operations.
- All battery chargers shall be connected to the monitoring system that will show the charge/out of charge status.
Galley & Laundry Equipment
Laundry
The laundry, located in the crew area compartment, as shown in the G.A., will be provided
with:
- - 2 washing machines for heavy duty. Choose per Appliance allowance.
- - 2 dryers for heavy duty. Choose per Appliance allowance.
- - 1 steam professional ironing unit. Choose per Appliance allowance.
- - Spradling or Cherry headliner and PVC flooring.
- - Corian work counter with stainless steel sink.
- All the finishing shall be at the same crew area standard.
Galley
- In general, the galley layout will be that of a professional galley and as shown in the general arrangement.
- One stainless steel hood will be installed, with high forced air extraction, in order to avoid any smell going in the accommodations.
- The counter top is light weight granite, under-mount stainless steel sink, Grohe quality fixtures.
- Stone flooring, Alcantara headliner with overhead lighting.
- Cupboards with shelves will be installed above and under the working bench as per galley layout; all usable space in cupboards will be maximized as much as possible.
- Drawers for cutlery etc. with dividing walls etc will be installed as necessary.

Tender launching devices
- A suitable electro mechanical handling system (capstan) for launching the tender will beinstalled in the aft garage (maximum load of 500 Kg), as shown in the GA plan.
Tender and Water toys
- The tender, the water toys, jet-ski etc, to be fitted in the aft garage and on aft swimming platform will be Buyer’s supply; the dimension and weight of tender and water toys shall be agreed and approved by the Seller.
Tender and water toys cradle
- The Shipyard will supply the suitable wooden and/or stainless steel removable storage rails/cradle and tie down points on swimming platform for tender and water toys provided he has the relevant information in due time.
Deck Equipment
Mooring equipment
Anchor Windlass
- Two vertical type anchor windlasses, model Maxwell VWC 6000 or Equivalent , stainless steel gypsy wheel suitable for U2 class stud link chain, 16 mm diameter , and capstan drums, powered by hydraulic motor will be installed.
- Hoisting capacity and hoisting speed according to Rules.
- In the way of windlasses foundations, the deck shall be properly reinforced.
- Anchor hawse pipe and anchor pocket
- Hawse pipes will be in stainless steel welded, on the top to the maneuvering island and on the bottom to the anchor pocket.
- An anchor chain washing system will be located on the hawse pipes; two nozzles for each hawse pipe will do the chain washing.
- This system will be connected to fresh water washing system by means of a valve at deck level near hawse pipes.
- The anchor pocket shall be in polished stainless steel, bolted and glued to the structural bow side of the hull.
- It shall be properly reinforced by the way of solid stainless steel half round, welded to the anchor pocket plate.
- Immediately below the anchor pocket shall be fit a stainless steel bended plate, in the way of the bow chine, in order to defend the hull from the contact to the chain, during the anchor maneuvering.
Chain Stopper
- Stainless steel anchor swivels and chain stoppers, equipped with devil clamps, will be provided.
Bow maneuvering island
- Anchor windlasses and chain stoppers shall be fixed on a stainless steel plate with coaming, in order to collect the sea water during the hoisting time.
- The island shall have two drainage holes, connected with the anchor hawse pipe.
Chain locker
- A chain locker divided in the middle will be located in the fore peak.
- There is a watertight access hatch to forepeak.
- Slots for hands and feet will be cut on the dividing wall to be used as entrance ladder in the two areas.
- The bottom of the chain locker will be provided with a movable, perforated high thickness plates in order to allow the access for cleaning and drainage.
- The chain inlet pipes will be stainless steel, suitably supported, covered on the top side.
- The down pipes will be placed so that chains may be properly stored in the locker.
Capstan
- Two capstan drums (Maxwell , Muir or equivalent) 2200w, single speed, double direction, at least 1300 Kg bollard pull and 10 m/min speed, will be installed, one on each side of the aft main deck.
- The electric motors will be installed in the aft peak.
- The warping lines to be controlled by foot switches located as suggested by the Captain near the capstan platform.
- In the way of capstan foundations, the deck shall be properly reinforced.
Mooring bollards , fairleads, hawse cleats and freeing ports
- Polished stainless steel bollards, 4 at bow on the main deck, 4 aft on the main deck, will be bolted to the deck, position will be as shown in the Mooring plan.
- One bollard in a central location integrated in the central fairlead will be installed as shown in the Mooring plan, port and starboard sidewalk.
- Polished stainless steel hawse cleats , 2 at sidewalk per side, will be installed as shown in the Mooring plan.
- Polished stainless steel pop-up cleats, 2 at swimming platform close to the outer corner.
- In the way of bollards and cleats, the deck shall be properly reinforced; in the way of fairleads and hawse cleats , the bulwark shall be properly reinforced.
- Freeing port holes, as shown in the Mooring plan, should meet Rules’ requirements.
Anchor, chain
- Two high holding power galvanized steel anchors or similar, will be provided. They will be connected to 2 x 137m length galvanized chains 16 mm with stud, grade 2, and they will be complete with shackles and swivels. Anchors and chains will be in compliance with the
- Classification Society’s requirements.
- The last link of chain will be securely fastened in the chain locker and will be provided with an emergency release control for both anchors.
- Chains shall be painted according with international rules or particular captain’s request, in order to valuate the quantity of chain overboard.
Safety & Security Equipment
Fire Fighting
- Fire-fighting accessories will be installed as required by Class and Flag Authority, into dedicated stores or inside accommodation areas integrated in the interiors , will be showed in Safety Plan. 12 portable dry chemical & 2 foam fire extinguishers will be provided by
- Seller and mounted in accessible position.
- Fix fire-fighting system will be installed in engine room by Seller to meet the required of Class and Flag.
- A fire fighting water system will be provided by Seller to meet the required of Class and Flag.
- The yacht will be provided 2 fire suits as required by Class and Flag Authority.
Life Rafts
- Four self inflatable life rafts, 4 x 8 persons will be placed on adequate stainless steel brackets on sun deck , fitted with all accessories as per Rules.
- They shall be fixed to the holding brackets by hydrostatic auto-release hooks.
- Two flood lights will be placed in the neighborhood of the life rafts to allow a safe embarkation.
Lifesaving appliances
- The yacht will be provided with lifesaving appliance for 22 adult and for 4 children with light and whistle, as requested by Class, distributed on board accordingly.
- The yacht will be provided with 4 sets 24” life rings with self-lighting light and smoke; 2 of them will be with life lines, as per Rules.
- A “Lifesaving appliances plan” will be supplied with all relevant use indication.

- The island shall have two drainage holes, connected with the anchor hawse pipe.
Chain locker
- A chain locker divided in the middle will be located in the fore peak.
- There is a watertight access hatch to forepeak.
- Slots for hands and feet will be cut on the dividing wall to be used as entrance ladder in the two areas.
- The bottom of the chain locker will be provided with a movable, perforated high thickness plates in order to allow the access for cleaning and drainage.
- The chain inlet pipes will be stainless steel, suitably supported, covered on the top side.
- The down pipes will be placed so that chains may be properly stored in the locker.
Capstan
- Two capstan drums (Maxwell , Muir or equivalent) 2200w, single speed, double direction, at least 1300 Kg bollard pull and 10 m/min speed, will be installed, one on each side of the aft main deck.
- The electric motors will be installed in the aft peak.
- The warping lines to be controlled by foot switches located as suggested by the Captain near the capstan platform.
- In the way of capstan foundations, the deck shall be properly reinforced.
Mooring bollards , fairleads, hawse cleats and freeing ports
- Polished stainless steel bollards, 4 at bow on the main deck, 4 aft on the main deck, will be bolted to the deck, position will be as shown in the Mooring plan.
- One bollard in a central location integrated in the central fairlead will be installed as shown in the Mooring plan, port and starboard sidewalk.
- Polished stainless steel hawse cleats , 2 at sidewalk per side, will be installed as shown in the Mooring plan.
- Polished stainless steel pop-up cleats, 2 at swimming platform close to the outer corner.
- In the way of bollards and cleats, the deck shall be properly reinforced; in the way of fairleads and hawse cleats , the bulwark shall be properly reinforced.
- Freeing port holes, as shown in the Mooring plan, should meet Rules’ requirements.
Anchor, chain
- Two high holding power galvanized steel anchors or similar, will be provided. They will be connected to 2 x 137m length galvanized chains 16 mm with stud, grade 2, and they will be complete with shackles and swivels. Anchors and chains will be in compliance with the
- Classification Society’s requirements.
- The last link of chain will be securely fastened in the chain locker and will be provided with an emergency release control for both anchors.
- Chains shall be painted according with international rules or particular captain’s request, in order to valuate the quantity of chain overboard.
Safety & Security Equipment
Fire Fighting
- Fire-fighting accessories will be installed as required by Class and Flag Authority, into dedicated stores or inside accommodation areas integrated in the interiors , will be showed in Safety Plan. 12 portable dry chemical & 2 foam fire extinguishers will be provided by
- Seller and mounted in accessible position.
- Fix fire-fighting system will be installed in engine room by Seller to meet the required of Class and Flag.
- A fire fighting water system will be provided by Seller to meet the required of Class and Flag.
- The yacht will be provided 2 fire suits as required by Class and Flag Authority.
Life Rafts
- Four self inflatable life rafts, 4 x 8 persons will be placed on adequate stainless steel brackets on sun deck , fitted with all accessories as per Rules.
- They shall be fixed to the holding brackets by hydrostatic auto-release hooks.
- Two flood lights will be placed in the neighborhood of the life rafts to allow a safe embarkation.
Lifesaving appliances
- The yacht will be provided with lifesaving appliance for 22 adult and for 4 children with light and whistle, as requested by Class, distributed on board accordingly.
- The yacht will be provided with 4 sets 24” life rings with self-lighting light and smoke; 2 of them will be with life lines, as per Rules.
- A “Lifesaving appliances plan” will be supplied with all relevant use indication.
