LAURA, ex PYWACKET V and REEF POINTS, is a 2007 60’ (18.29m) Reichel/Pugh performance-oriented racer/cruiser, built by Westerly Marine to a design by Reichel/Pugh Yacht Design, with the original concept credited to Roy Disney as his family day sailor and cruiser. LAURA is offered under a three-year lease-to-own structure with zero interest.

A Hall Spars carbon three-spreader mast and carbon boom, stainless steel rod rigging, and a Harken hydraulic carbon winch package deliver efficient, push-button sail handling with reduced crew requirements. The original spinnaker pole has been replaced with a custom-engineered, removable carbon fiber bow sprit, supported by a purpose-built downwind inventory. Upwind performance is driven by a fully battened North 3DI RAW mainsail and 3DI RAW furling medium jib, paired with a slab reef Offshore Spars carbon boom for optimized sail shape and durability or shift to the sheep’s clothing set up with her Ocean Furl hydraulic in boom furling and matching North Sails 3DI Marathon furling mainsail and furling jib on Harken hydro furl headstay. A hydraulic lifting keel (minimum draft 9’ to maximum 13’6”) enhances both upwind efficiency and access for cruising.

Deck systems are fully integrated and hydraulically supported, including a hydraulic traveler, a hydraulic-powered disappearing swim step, and a hydraulic-powered disappearing anchor roller. Four Harken carbon fiber #66 three-speed hydraulic winches manage primary and secondary loads, with running rigging led cleanly through Spinlock clutches to maintain a flush, race-ready deck. The push-button mainsheet is controlled by a Harken hydraulic captive winch. Teak weather decks, recessed hatches, and a protected cockpit layout reflect a design that prioritizes both offshore function and crew safety.

Below deck, LAURA accommodates six guests in three cabins, including a forward master stateroom with en-suite head and two aft staterooms, each with private heads and showers doubling as day head style access. Climate and onboard systems are configured for extended use, including Cruise Air air conditioning, Webasto diesel heating, and a Sea Recovery 25 GPH watermaker. The galley is equipped with a Force 10 four-burner stove and oven, Glacier custom refrigeration system with LED controls.

Her sail inventory from North Sails includes multiple 3DI configurations, Code sails, storm inventory, and lightly used genoas and spinnakers, providing a comprehensive program for competitive racing or performance cruising. Combined with her carbon rig, lifting keel, and refined hydraulic systems, LAURA represents a technically advanced 60-foot platform with proven design pedigree and structured purchase flexibility.
