FOCUS is a 153’ (46.6m) North American Shipbuilding yacht delivered in 2002 with comprehensive upgrades between 2023 and 2025. Designed by Luiz De Basto and built entirely in aluminum with teak decks, she was built for performance and elegant living. Her semi-displacement hull ensures outstanding seakeeping and efficiency, complemented by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines, each delivering 2,250hp at 1925rpm. She cruises comfortably at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots, and boasts an impressive 5,000-nautical-mile range at 13 knots.
Built to ABS classification and MCA compliance, she provides reliability and luxury. FOCUS also features a full-service elevator providing easy access to all decks for effortless movement throughout the yacht. Equipped with Quantum Zero-Speed stabilizers for absolute comfort, FOCUS delivers a smooth, steady ride.
Inside, FOCUS is timeless, featuring an interior by Ralph Lauren Home with rich African Makore mahogany and Tuscan marble throughout. Her five-stateroom layout accommodates 10 guests. The master suite is uniquely positioned on the upper deck, offering privacy and exceptional views. Below, guest accommodations include a starboard queen stateroom with an ensuite shower, a port-side VIP stateroom with a queen bed and ensuite bath, and two twin staterooms—one to port with an ensuite shower and one to starboard with an ensuite bath. The yacht also offers exceptional crew accommodations, with a total of five cabins, including an ensuite captain’s cabin and chef’s cabin on the main deck, plus three crew cabins below. Dedicated crew access and a private companionway to all decks ensure seamless service while maintaining guest privacy.
One of the standout features of FOCUS is her unique, partially enclosed sundeck. The forward portion is fully enclosed, with large windows offering spectacular 270-degree views, while the open aft section is designed for relaxation, featuring a Jacuzzi and generous space. Whether enjoying the scenery from the observation lounge or dining alfresco on the aft deck, every area of FOCUS is designed for guest entertainment.
Her refit in 2023 and ongoing upgrades in 2024/2025 have brought FOCUS to top condition. Major work includes a top-end overhaul of her Caterpillar engines, cylinder liner replacements, a new bow thruster, an upgraded Boning Monitoring System, a new chilled water plant, a Spot Zero system, two new hot water heaters, a complete hydraulic refit, and a new sea chest crossover for improved water flow management. The running gear has been fully serviced, and a complete LED lighting upgrade has been installed throughout. Additionally, FOCUS is now equipped with an integrated Starlink system for seamless global connectivity. The latest phase of her refit includes a full sand and bottom paint, an 8,000-hour stabilizer service, and a complete polish with ceramic coating to maintain her flawless exterior.
