Luxury sailing yacht FANCY is a fast, seaworthy vessel built with carbon composite. Since her 2004 launch, she has undergone refits throughout the years by her previous and current owners to modernize while still maintaining her classic charm. In 2013, her hull was painted a sleek dark blue and her superstructure was done in 2019. FANCY’s 2021/2022 refit brought countless updates, including new salon and cockpit tables, full lifting keel service, a summer and winter Bimini, new mattresses and cushions and so much more. A complete survey was done in April 2022 with a €2,500,000 valuation value.
FANCY’s interior is warm and welcoming with a spacious main salon and a fully-equipped galley. The space was redone in 2022 with new carpeting, fabrics on the walls and a new table. A flatscreen LG OLED TV has been placed on the wall, perfect for winding down to a movie after a long day of sailing. The large sofa is perfect for guests to gather and relax, while the dinette serves as an indoor dining space.
The sailing yacht can accommodate eight guests in four cabins onboard. Very close attention to detail was given to the reduction of noise in the guest cabin area. All staterooms are built on silent blocks to provide excellent insulation. The owner’s cabin features a double bed, plenty of storage and new lighting, adding a sense of spaciousness to the room. The VIP cabin is to port and has a double bed and the same amenities as the master. To starboard are the two guest cabins, both with double beds. Four crewmembers can be accommodated in two well-appointed crew cabins. An interior refresh in satin-finished cherry wood with new fabrics on the wall was done in 2022.
Designed by Gilles Vaton, FANCY’s exterior spaces are expansive. The central cockpit is fully protected from the win with a spray-dodger and from the sun or rain under a large Bimini top. It features a large folding table with space for eight guests. The aft cockpit is the maneuvering area with the mainsail and jib winches, the twin steering positions and access to the open transom and swim platform.
