The charming 68.2’ (20.8m) CAPELLA was launched in 2001, custom-built by YBM Gdansk, Poland. Described as a ‘true little ship,’ she is a steel displacement motor yacht outfitted with equipment and systems you would normally expect to find on larger yachts. CAPELLA was built to CE and Lloyd’s Register classifications and has long-range capacity with stabilizers. Having had only one owner since launch, she has been exceptionally maintained exclusively for private family cruising, never having been chartered. She is VAT paid and German-flagged.

Her classic lines make CAPELLA an eye-catching vessel. Her white-painted hull and superstructure, combined with her teak decks and polished metal accents, hark back to the golden age of yachting. She has been based in the Western Mediterranean since her initial transfer to Mallorca upon delivery and maintained by the same captain.

CAPELLA offers ample space on the main deck and flybridge for socializing and relaxing. She features a very nice and comfortable interior layout finished in teak wood with a satin finish. Her main deck features a saloon with a seating area as well as an office desk and, moving forward, a fully-equipped galley and bridge/wheelhouse with all navigation and communication systems. The flybridge has an area for sunbathing, a deck crane and tender storage. From the aft deck, you have access to an integrated bathing platform for easy access to the sea.

She can comfortably accommodate six guests across three well-appointed cabins. CAPELLA’s full-beam master suite contains a centreline double bed, a settee to port and an extendable desk to starboard, a large en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Two twin cabins also feature en-suites. Her cabins were recarpeted and mattresses and covers were replaced in 2018. If cruising with crew, the aft guest cabin would be ideal for two.

CAPELLA comes with full navigation instruments. She is powered by twin MAN diesels of 217 hp each and equipped with Wesmar fin stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, twin generators, aircon and heating.

Broker’s Comments - Highlights

M/Y Capella is a classic lined displacement motor yacht built by YBM Gdansk, Poland; a true ‘little ship’ fitted with equipment you would normally find only on larger yachts and built to CE and Lloyd’s. She was launched in 2001 and is still owned by her first and present owners who only used her privately for family cruising, never chartered. After delivery in 2001 she was immediately delivered to Mallorca, where she has been based ever since. She has been maintained by the same captain after her arrival in Mallorca. The owners have always maintained M/Y Capella to the highest standard, no expenses have been spared and every winter period she has been in the local shipyard for service work. Therefore, the boat is in a very good overall condition and is ready for viewings and survey. M/Y Capella has always cruised in the Western Mediterranean. She has proved herself, in all weathers, to be a stable and comfortable vessel.
