For discerning charterers looking for something a bit different, the 175.6-foot (53.5m) SANSSOUCI STAR ticks all the boxes. She was built in 1982 by the German yard Husumer Schiffswerft and has since been refitted. Elegant and charming, she is one of a rare handful of traditional superyachts still available. As such, she promises a unique cruise experience. Added to this, her adventurous selection of charter destinations never fails to appeal to guests.
STYLE & ACCOMMODATION
SANSSOUCI STAR sleeps up to 12 guests in seven staterooms, with up to 16 guests being welcomed for day cruises. On request, she is also available for event charters. The upper deck master stateroom has two en-suite bathrooms. A deck below on the main deck are two VIP staterooms, both with en-suite facilities. The lower deck has two standard staterooms and two twin cabins. The décor on board reflects her traditional heritage and her amenities are designed to ensure an equal balance of relaxation and action.
CRUISING LIFESTYLE
The charter destinations in which SANSSOUCI STAR operates are designed to intrigue and appeal to charterers looking beyond the classic cruise grounds. As such, she escorts guests to the Baltic Sea, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Russia and Sweden. The UK, Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and Iceland also feature on her itinerary. Even the Arctic is not beyond the reach of this remarkable yacht. Guests can relax aboard with the audio-visual equipment, or jump overboard to enjoy the water skis, Yamaha high-performance water scooter and kayaks. The latter are perfect for weaving closer to all those fascinating Baltic Islands and coastlines. A 23.6-foot (7.2m) tender with twin 1,500hp engines carries guests closer to the action so they can step ashore and explore each destination. Back on deck, a crew of eight takes care of every requirement.
