Fresh Water & Water Heating System

  • 2 x Headhunter X-Caliber pressure pumps for redundancy.
  • 55 liter stainless water heater with dual 2000 watt elements with heat exchanger that is part of the Kabola diesel boiler/engine waste heat circuit for hot water. System permits hot water and boat heating to be made from engine heat underway or at rest by electricity or Kabola heater.
  • The deck fills are t’d into the fresh water tanks to catch rain. The deck fills just aft of frame 43 to the single aft tank through a commonly connected 2” line. Mouse holes in breakwaters are plugged with a rag or sponge when collecting rainwater.

Description of layout from forwards

  • She has a large forepeak forward, which is separated by a crash bulkhead. The Owner’s Stateroom is aft of this with a vanity and storage area forward, separated shower/bath compartment and heads compartment to port. On the starboard side there are capacious lockers and there is a king sized double berth forward facing with access to both sides. A hatch arrangement separates this cabin from the Great Room, which is accessed via steps.
  • The Great Room has a full bridge area with an L shaped seating and dining area to port and a sofa to starboard. This area is fitted with seat belts for use during passages. Aft of this is a U shaped galley area to port with a very full array of kitchen equipment and refrigeration. To port is further storage and space for the washing machine and dryer.
  • Beneath the sole boards is a huge storage area known as the basement with ample space for storing equipment and spares.
  • Down steps aft to 2 twin cabins each with their own en-suite heads compartment and a shared shower stall. These are comfortable and spacious cabins with ample storage.
  • The engine room is accessed through the shared shower and offers great access to all the systems and is easy to move around in. There is plenty of room for tools and spares.
  • Back in the Great Room there are steps up onto the aft deck which has plenty of room for 2 dinghies which can be deployed using the mast booms. Steps down to the large bathing platform for easy boarding. The side decks are wide and there is a large foredeck area.
