SIRONA, a 72’ (21.95m) custom-built Tripp Design sailing yacht, is fast, light and ideally suited for cruising and racing anywhere in the world. This impressive yacht was built and engineered to be effectively and easily sailed by her owner-operators with minimal additional crew required.

SIRONA presents in turnkey condition courtesy of a high level of maintenance and upgrades since her launch, including a full overhaul of all systems in 2016. SIRONA features a superior level of performance often seen only on yachts suited for a sophisticated level of racing. The yacht’s unique water ballast system simulates crewmembers on the rail, which ensures a top level of both power and stability. The addition of a Park Avenue boom, automatic furling headsails and hydraulic winches offer an effortless yet powerful sailplan.

SIRONA’s ABS-spec’d hull was built with biaxial E-glass and epoxy resins with Corecell foam core reinforced with Kevlar in specific areas. The yacht’s lifting keel features a stainless steel foil with a lead bulb. SIRONA features a low-profile raised pilothouse and stunning teak decking. The yacht’s sail-handling is managed from her aft cockpit, ensuring her center cockpit is used exclusively for entertaining, socializing and dining. Her low-profile pilothouse connects the cockpit for a seamless entertaining space with a spacious settee and dining area as well as a full nav station and a bar. Furthermore, this area offers 360-degree views.

The lower salon of SIRONA is found forward and down several steps. Here a U-shaped settee and entertainment systems provide an ideal space to unwind. A privacy curtain allows this space to convert into an additional queen stateroom. The yacht’s spacious galley benefits from large windows and an abundance of storage space as well as a bar.

Three staterooms aboard sailing yacht SIRONA welcome up to six guests. Her master stateroom is located aft of the pilothouse. This full-beam suite features a double berth, a sofa and an office. It also provides private access to the aft cockpit. A VIP stateroom is located forward of the galley and the second guest stateroom or crew stateroom is located fully forward.

Cockpit

The Aft Cockpit is the operational heart of the vessel, with all controls at or within arm’s reach of the helm; all engine and furling controls, bow thrusters, hydraulics and all sail handling winches. This is the true enabler for the simplicity of sailhandling aboard SIRONA, such that she can truly be handled by a couple. Forward in the cockpit is the private Owner’s Stateroom companionway.

With all sailhandling from the aft cockpit, the Guest Cockpit, protected by the pilothouse and dodger, with a drop leaf table at center with seating all around, is reserved for dining, entertaining and lounging. Connected forward to the pilothouse area, this is truly the ‘social hub’ of the yacht.

Accomodations / Walkthrough

The low-profile, raised pilothouse aboard SIRONA is the heart of the yacht, with a large ‘U’ shaped settee/dining area to port with unrestricted line of sight visibility to the horizon in all directions. There is a full navigation station to starboard with comprehensive performance, navigation, and communication equipment, plus a bar area with refrigerator outboard to starboard.

Forward and down several steps to starboard is the lower salon, with a U shaped settee area, entertainment equipment and a privacy curtain that allows this area to convert to an additional stateroom with queen berth. The gourmet Galley is across to port, with an abundance of counter and cabinet space, new stove, comprehensive refrigeration and freezer capacity. This entire area, port and starboard are below the large sloping windows of the pilothouse, providing a marvelously open ‘feel’.

Forward of the galley is the VIP Stateroom, with a double berth, plenty of stowage in drawers, lockers and hanging locker, opening hatch and full ensuite head and stall shower.

Fully forward the Crew or Second Guest Stateroom has twin bunks, over and under, drawer and locker stowage and a private head with shower.

Aft of the Pilothouse, down several steps to starboard, the Owner’s Stateroom is full width of the yacht with a large double berth to port, couch and office area to starboard, private access to the aft cockpit and a full ensuite head with stall shower.
