SAMSARA is a 30-meter expedition motor yacht built in 2019 in Fort Lauderdale and classed by RINA with an unrestricted “Any Ocean” notation. She was designed by renowned naval architect Jon Overing to MCA/Lloyd’s 100A1 standards, reflecting a serious commitment to safety, structural integrity, and global capability.
Created for discerning owners who value both luxury and adventure, SAMSARA delivers an exceptional balance of comfort, efficiency, and seaworthiness. Her expansive interior spaces, durable exterior decks, and extensive selection of recreational equipment make her equally suited for relaxed coastal cruising or ambitious long-range expeditions.
Engineered as a full-displacement vessel, she is built to perform confidently in demanding sea conditions. Rather than riding atop the water, her rounded hull form moves efficiently through it, enhancing stability and fuel economy. Constructed with an LR-certified steel hull (8–16mm thickness) and a lightweight marine-grade aluminum superstructure, she is further equipped with zero-speed stabilizers to ensure comfort both underway and at anchor.
The interior, crafted by Kirschstein Interior Design of London, showcases rich North American cherry wood complemented by neutral-toned furnishings, creating a warm and welcoming liveaboard atmosphere. Accommodations are arranged for up to eight guests across four ensuite staterooms. Crew quarters provide comfortable space for up to five, with two heads forward and a dedicated engineer’s cabin aft with its own ensuite facilities.
Purpose-built for extended passagemaking, SAMSARA underwent comprehensive tank testing during development to refine hull efficiency and optimize hydrodynamic performance. Substantial fuel and fluid capacities support significant range and autonomy. Her cruising résumé is extensive, with more than 38,000 nautical miles logged — from Glacier Bay, Alaska to Istanbul, Turkey — including visits to over 125 ports in 25 countries and multiple transits of both the Panama and Corinth Canals.
