QUEEN SOUTH III is a 35.97 meter (118’ overall) custom luxury yacht built by Cihan Marine - launched in 1999 and finished in Viareggio, Italy -- her interior highlights the finest Italian craftsmanship. Her graceful clipper bow and lovely lines belie the capability of this robust bluewater cruiser.
This single family owned yacht has been constantly maintained to the highest standard. QUEEN SOUTH III underwent a 2-phase complete refit in 2012 and 2013 at Rybovich Spencer Shipyard in Florida and the Hinckley Shipyard in Rhode Island.
QUEEN SOUTH III is fully air conditioned throughout (units newly installed in 2011) she accommodates 8 guests in luxury and comfort. 4 spacious guest suites with elegant marble accents, each have an en suite private bath with head and shower. The Master head also has a jacuzzi tub.
The aft Master and forward VIP each have walk-around queen beds.
The Master en suite bath has a Jacuzzi tub and Jacuzzi Pus tonic jet massage shower. In the master stateroom, there is a large curved settee that can comfortably sleep a child / teenager and lots of drawer and hanging storage space.
One guest cabin has a double and single bed and the other has twin lower singles – both with private en suite bath.
There are separate crew accommodations for 6 crew with separate crew heads and showers.
Dine in the air-conditioned comfort and neutral pallet of the luxurious salon with butter soft ostrich leather upholstery and varnished teak and cherry paneling and panoramic windows offering views in every direction.
Or you may choose to take meals al fresco in any weather on QUEEN SOUTH III’s large aft deck with hard-top Bimini, with ambient lighting and deck dining table which comfortably seats 12 or more. As you take in the panoramic views from this vantage, massive deck areas surround you - forward and aft – offering plenty of room for sun bathing, lounging, water sports equipment storage...
Powered by twin 350 HP / 275 kw MTU propelling diesel engines (rebuilt in 2011) QUEEN SOUTH III has a cruising speed of 9 knots and can get to a comfortable top speed of 11 knots. 2 Onan generators were newly installed in 2011 seamlessly run her systems.
Equally suitable for worldwide cruising QUEEN SOUTH III is an excellent yacht for family cruising or yacht charters alike. The full commercial style galley is complete with storage for a long cruise or a gourmet meal in port.
