Engine & Gearboxes

• Full deep service on both main engines 2019.

• Transformer and phase change over switch enabling the Vessel to accept 110v and 220v. The Ship’s supplies are also dual, new 2020.
• Full instrumentation.

Engine Room

• Accessed either from the bathing platform of via and access watertight door on the starboard side of the mid-deck.
• Separate lazarette area aft housing transformer, air conditioning units, batteries, and hydraulics for the passerelle and bathing lader.
• Watertight door into the well laid out engine room with main engines, generators, and other services.
• Fully sound insulated and with chequer plate sole.

Other

• Vacuum cleaner -Central remote unit (engine room) with portable plug in hose. 
• Safe located in owners walk in wardrobe.

Heads/Showers

• Vacuflush electric fresh water WCs.
• Separated shower stalls to all sleeping cabins.

Heating & Ventilation

• 2 x sea water cooling pumps & 2 x chilled water circulation pumps.
• Air conditioning has been checked and overhauled. New compressors require fitting.

Fresh Water & Water Heating System

• 2 hot water boilers situated in engine room, one replaced 2019. Heated via Immersion heaters and run via generator, ships power or shore powers.
• Accumulator tanks for pressurised water systems.
• Full sewage treatment plant.

Watermaker

• 1 x HP Reverse Osmosis watermaker. SC 140. 120 litre/hour. 
• Currently ashore after full service and requires refit to the vessel.

Bilge Pumps

• Separate bilge pumps for each compartment on the Vessel.
• Emergency fire pump situated in the lazarette.
• Manifold in engine room to control pump out.

Grey & Black Water

• 1 x Hamann HL-Cont. Super Mini. 2.52 M³ / day USCG & MARPOL compliant.

Fire-Fighting Equipment

• 2 x 45kg fixed Halon system in lazarette with shut down all replaced 2021 with Fireguard opening system for engine room. 
• Fixed CO2 drench in galley.
• 1 x Minerva 1000 fire detection control on bridge with battery back-up, manual call points and general alarm function.
• 3 x 15m hoses on deck from sea water fire pump.

• 84' Troy Motor Explorer  is in her fourth ownership. She was originally built for a German owner who insisted on the use of an American designer and equipment that was American or North European. This has very much added to the look, feel, capability and comfort of the yacht, including a glorious high gloss maple interior specified by him.
• Sold to another European she was then purchased by a company that specializes in recovering artifacts from marine wrecks, for use in a support role. She was carefully assessed at this time for coding to MCA Category 0 that requires an additional bulkhead in the forward lower deck accommodation. Stability information and plans are available to intending owners for their review.
• Her current owner has used her for local cruising with his family. He has run her easily without crew, finding her easy to handle in confined spaces and very comfortable at sea. During his ownership she has been fully serviced and put into a sound operational condition. There are some outstanding works which are in progress –
• Completing the overhaul of the air conditioning system.
• Refitting the watermaker which was removed for refurbishment by the manufacturers’ agent.
• Completing the rewire of the stabiliser system. The fins have been completely overhauled.
• She is a very handsome explorer yacht with a striking flag blue hull and smart upperworks. She has a hydraulic crane for handling the dinghy, good access to the water with a large platform with retractable passerelle and bathing ladder, a large aft deck, protected side decks and a sunbathing area forward. The flying bridge is large and has very good vision when at sea.
• Below there is a large bridge with seating area and seating behind, and access to the upper deck. There is a day head, and access to the practical galley which leads to the deck saloon with access to the aft deck. There are 2 guest cabins on the lower deck forward and a further 2 upper and lower berth cabins for crew or guests. All these cabins have ensuite heads and showers. Access to the owners’ stateroom on the lower deck is via steps in the main saloon. It is a large and comfortable area with king sized berth, heads, separate shower and walk in wardrobe.
• The engine room and lazarette separated by a watertight door is spacious and can be accessed from either the stern platform or from an access door on the main deck.
• She is perfectly suited to serious cruising with a range of around 2,600 nautical miles and is also well mannered for local cruising. She is always the most handsome yacht in the anchorage.
• She has a current stability booklet and plans are available on request for the fitting of an additional watertight bulkhead if a new owner was interested in coding her to MCA Category Zero.
