Accommodation

  • The Master Cabin is all the way aft, full beam, and down another set of polished stainless-steel stairs. The light Birds-Eye Maple wood theme continues, and the walls feature beautiful bronze portholes with the “DVC” logo etched into the glass. There are two large double beds on opposite sides of the cabin, in a mirror image configuration. The ceiling is tall and the room is light and open. The décor is fun, featuring a modern style stainless steel clock, weather instruments, antique paintings, and a modern globe on the shelf above the beds. The master bath is forward on the port side with grey marble and modern-styled hardware accents. The shower and head have marble floors and the shower floor has a beautiful nautically inspired inlay.
  • Moving forward from the lower salon down the hallway, the VIP cabin is on the port side with a built-in double bed, a desk and a clothes closet. Again, lots of natural light from the portholes and portlights. The VIP head has a creative design where glass doors isolate the center space, keeping the head and sink dry, while using the shower. This modern design and hardware create a great feel.
  • Depending on the operational style of the owner, there is a third cabin which can work as an additional guest cabin, for an owner that is prepared to run with only one crew member, or as an additional captain/crew cabin. The layout and live aboard feel of DVC make this reality as a guest cabin and is further supported by her having a bow and stern thruster, for easy maneuverability when docking. The double-bed in this cabin can be converted into a pair of bunk beds, or a comfortable sofa. This cabin would share the crew head, as does not have a dedicated head or shower but converting the pantry back to a day-head would offer a partial solution. An owner wanting less work and more service would dedicate this area to a crew member or crew couple.
