The 240.2-foot (73.2m) PLANET NINE was built by Admiral in 2018. Her naval architecture is by Serim Srl (Alberto Ascenzi) and her interior design is the work of London-based Mlinaric, Henry & Zervudachi. This steel-hulled displacement yacht has a beam of 42-feet (12.8m) and a draft of 11-feet (3.61m). Twin 2,575hp Caterpillar 3,516B engines power her to a cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. She has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at when cruising. Seasoned superyacht aficionados may be more familiar with this impressive yacht under her previous name of Antarctica.
PLANET NINE accommodates 12 guests in nine cabins. On the main deck she makes plenty of space for a master stateroom and a VIP stateroom. On the wheelhouse deck is a further VIP stateroom, and on the lower deck are the remaining cabins. Taking care of all 12 guests are an incredible 20 crewmembers, ensuring the level of service is second to none. Highlights of the yacht include a helideck with helicopter available to charter and a steam room in the beach club/spa area. There is also an upper-deck observation lounge and a cinema/theater room on the main deck.
PLANET NINE has a commanding presence at sea, while her spacious, bright and colorful interior is full of original design details and distinctive character.
Thanks to her luxurious appointment, comfort, elegance and facilities, PLANET NINE is equally well-suited to family charters or groups of friends. In the winter months she offers exciting itineraries in the Red Sea, Seychelles, Maldives and Caribbean. The latter includes cruises of the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and the Windward and Leeward islands.
Summer sees her turn to an incredible range of coasts, islands and highlights in the East and West Mediterranean. Along with regular charters, she is available on special request for event charters, day charters, night cruising and overnight anchoring.
