Her retro-chic exterior may have the look of a classic gentleman’s yacht, but there’s nothing old hat about her cutting-edge comfort and onboard technology. Turning heads with her canoe stern and traditional looks since her 2020 launch, BLUE II was built by Turquoise Yachts in Istanbul to a design penned by Hoek Design. A true explorer yacht at heart, BLUE II is capable of worldwide cruising and boasts a host of luxurious, state-of-the-art amenities that ensure incredible comfort whatever the adventure. Cheerful interiors
Interiors on BLUE II have a cool beach chic ambience with bright white panelling and crisp prints enhancing the abundance of natural light from the large windows. The main salon is light and airy with elegant hard wood floors and plush sofas in pure white and pale blue reminiscent of the clear waters of her cruising grounds. There are two distinct lounge areas separated by a handsome bookshelf and cabinet—the forward most of which is a cleverly configured movie lounge with a wide screen TV. There’s also a games table and a cosy nook for curling up with a good book. The lovely formal dining area has an attractive wooden table with seating for ten in moveable chairs and integrated c-shaped sofa.
The upper deck lounge is a cheerful space for relaxing after dinner or for snacks and cocktails throughout the day at the bar. Funky black and white patterned bar stools add a sense of fun while the red and white print sofas enhance the beach house vibe. There’s a games table for checkers or chess and a massive TV for fun filled movie nights or catching the big game. When work beckons, there’s a private owner’s office for checking emails and keeping in the loop.
Flexible staterooms
BLUE II welcomes her 12 guests in six gorgeous staterooms including two opulent master suites. Her first master suite is on the upper deck and showcases spectacular 180-degree views, a sumptuous king size bed, lovely lounge areas, a vanity, walk-in closet and amazing en-suite bathroom with large bathtub, separate shower, and unique tiling. Her second master suite can be found on the main deck next to the wellness area with its sauna, steam room, massage room and gym. It showcases an indulgent king size bed, lounge area, and stunning en-suite bathroom also with a large tub and separate shower. The remaining staterooms can be found on the lower deck and include two double staterooms and two twin cabins, one of which can be converted to a double should the need arise, adding to BLUE II’s incredible flexibility. They all have crisp white décor and stunning en-suite facilities.
Outdoor living
Decks on BLUE II are beautifully spacious with an array of opportunities for soaking in the sun, dining and socializing across her three levels. There’s no better place to capture the sunset with drink in hand than on the expansive foredeck before heading to the main deck aft for dinner al fresco at the shaded dining table. After dinner, lounge under the star over-looking the stern before heading in for a night cap at the bar. During the day, the bridge deck aft has sun loungers galore for bronzing while taking in uninterrupted views.
Entertainment
Access to the water for a cooling dip is easy thanks to BLUE II’s portside swimming platform which is also the launch pad for her full complement of toys and 31-foot Novurania Chase 31 tender. Sea-Doo WaveRunners, E-foils, SeaBobs and a vast array of inflatable towable toys provide a shot of adrenaline, while the two sail boats, paddle boards, snorkelling kit and kayaks are sure to satisfy the explorers in the group.
