With strong Kiwi sailing credentials, the 120.7-foot (36.8m) BLISS provides an exhilarating combination of stylish luxury and top-notch performance. Having completed a bow to stern refit in 2019, BLISS is as good as the day she was launched by Yachting Developments in New Zealand in 2009. Her incredible exteriors are the work of British designers Dubois Naval Architects who are renowned for creating yachts with sporty lines and innovative hulls. True to form, BLISS is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest composite sloop and one of the finest yachts built in its category in recent times. A 2010 finalist in the World Superyacht Awards and ShowBoats Design Awards as the best sailing yacht between 30m and 50m, BLISS offers an incredible charter experience. Spending her summers sailing the Mediterranean and tropical winters in the Caribbean, BLISS is the perfect choice for experienced sailors and newcomers alike who wish to experience performance sailing in total luxury.
Modern Interiors
Interiors on BLISS are contemporary and flexible making her ideal for a wide range of charter parties. Created by Design Unlimited, the minimal futuristic spaces feature custom glass pieces, specialist paint finishes and textured leather and shagreen wrapped panels. The salon boasts beautiful white leather sofas, high-gloss hardwood floors and a large state-of-the-art table that opens, raises and extends all the press of a button to fit any occasion.
Flexible Accommodations
The same level of flexibility can be found in BLISS’s three staterooms, ideally accommodating six guests, but with space for four more if the need arises. The full-beam master stateroom features his and hers en-suite bathrooms and a private lounge that can be converted using a partition into a fourth cabin with twin bunks and en-suite facilities. Similarly, the two queen cabins can be converted into twin staterooms with additional Pullman bunks. The flexible configuration means BLISS is equally suited to chartering with either three couples or two families with children.
Exteriors
The expansive decks on BLISS have been designed with outdoor living in mind with fabulous spaces for dining, socializing and sunbathing. The cockpit offers sensational opportunities for alfresco dining relaxing undercover while just aft, there’s a separate convertible area for lounging and soaking in the sun with loungers and large cushions. Unlike many sailing yachts, BLISS also offers a stunning sunken Jacuzzi and sun pads on the bow for carefree sunbathing during the day or relaxed after dark star gazing. An extended swimming platform allows for easy access to the water for a cooling dip or to make the most of BLISS’s impressive array of toys and her Castoldi Jet Tender. With a full dive kit and snorkeling gear, paddleboards, kayaks, and towable inflatable toys guests will be spoilt for choice both above and below the water.
Charter Experience
Performance sailing really is the name of the game on board BLISS. She is an excellent Bucket racer and a great choice if you wish to sample a taste of competition at European or Caribbean regattas. Her five-strong crew are more than happy to show newcomers the ropes or enjoy putting BLISS through her paces with more experienced sailors.
