2001 Delta 124 Motor Yacht | RUFFIAN

RUFFIAN is a great opportunity to own a high-pedigree yacht from the world-renowned Delta shipyard. She has received constant updating from her knowledgeable owner and crew, and benefits from a visit to the Delta Shipyard in 2022/2023 where further work and extensive updating was performed. RUFFIAN’s exterior was originally designed by Delta’s in-house design team while her interior was designed by Jonathan Quinn Barnett, which has also benefited from many recent updates.

With her high-quality GRP construction, RUFFIAN assures lower maintenance costs and features a shallow draft. She also benefits from her Quantum zero-speed stabilizers that provide comfort while underway and at rest. RUFFIAN is truly a rare find in today’s marketplace and is available for inspections in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Key Features

AFT DECK from the swim platform, curved stairs rise to the aft deck.  The streamlined transom contains a passerelle and full docking station controls. When these are not in use all that is visible is the curved transom enhanced by an aquarium style live tank amidships. Armchairs surround a wood table and a functional service bar includes a gas grill and ample storage. To starboard a curved teak stairway ascends to the upper deck.  Thick Plexiglas doors provide protection from the wind when closed and access to the side decks.

AFT FOYER features a magnificent floor inlay of two eagles by stone artist Jeff Homchick illuminated from above by a cast glass skylight.

DAY HEAD is across the foyer to starboard featuring an underlit glass bowl sink and quartzite accents.

SALON foyer features a magnificent marble floor inlaid with two eagles created from fossilized wood. The Salon is spacious. Forward of the bar is the lounge with a hidden HD surround sound entertainment center. The Powder room features an underlit glass bowl sink and quartzite accents. A glass masterpiece is displayed on a built-in buffet which, with leather wall panels, defines the perimeter of the hexagonal Dining Room with its own sound system.

WHEELHOUSE, an elegant stairway leads around a fluted rectangular column up to the pilot house which has a streamlined and uncluttered dashboard with hidden access to most components offering a clear 180° view. There are two Stidd leather helm seats at the navigation station and behind that, a leather elevated settee with a table for guest observation.

SKY SUITE aft of the pilothouse provides another comfortable retreat with deep windows to embrace the view with remote controlled Hunter Douglas blinds. This area has a custom couch (which converts to a Queen bed).  There is a full bathroom on the port side with a shower. On the starboard side is a full wet bar with a refrigerator, wine cooler, and ice maker. From the aft end of the lounge, you exit through a door to the Boat Deck and up stairs to the flybridge.

The tender is stored on the Boat Deck. Tender and chocks can be removed and replaced with a teak 10 person dining table and teak chairs. There are also chaise lounges and a large GE chest freezer. There are spiral stairs up to the flybridge.

FLYBRIDGE offers ample seating in either sun or shade. Two tables with wraparound seating are out of the sun, all the way aft is a sunny seating area with wicker chairs. On port and starboard sides forward are flip up wing stations which are completely hidden when not in use. A wet bar with refrigeration and ice maker is built into the back of the port side bench seating.

GALLEY the very practical ondeck galley with its central island and stools is used for casual dining.  Three large windows illuminate this efficient, well ventilated area, which has an ample pantry and expansive worktops as well as an abundance of large pullout drawers. Automatic door connects the galley to the dining area. Here you will also find the port side main deck crew entrance.

VIP SUITE ondeck has a King berth with pullout drawers beneath wrapped in calf hide. The bed also has a nightstand with builtin lamp on either side. Large windows provide a magnificent view. There is plenty of storage in two hanging lockers and two chests of drawers. The bath is jade green marble with a cylindrical shower full of natural light provided through a skylight. The bath also offers twin vanities, separate toilet compartment and heat on the floor.

MASTER AND GUEST CABINS are found by descending the curved stairway to the lower deck where the diamond shaped foyer is dramatic and the cabins angle off at 45degrees. The two Guest cabins are aft and the Master forward. The unique arrangement of berths diagonally in these cabins creates a greater feeling of space.

GUEST CABINS one has a Queen berth, the other is a convertible with 3 beds, each room has corner settees, en-suite bathrooms with floors heaters and showers, two hanging closets and chests of drawers.

MASTER SUITE is full beam with lounge area, desk, King sized bed, vanity two bathrooms, fore and aft to port, one with shower and one with Roman tub. Each head has floor heaters.

CREW QUARTERS are all the way forward with a spacious lounge and comprehensive galley. The Captain's cabin has an elevated queen berth with storage under, a desk, wardrobe and private head.  The starboard and port crew cabins each have upper and lower twin berths.  All three cabins have private heads with shower.

ENGINE ROOM is gleaming with red carpet between the red special order engines. Due to the amount of preplanning, space and maneuverability is remarkable.

LAZARETTE is very spacious and can house your diving, fishing and water sport gear.
