Acquired by the current owners in 2006 the yacht was renamed Maria Alba II and has undergone steady improvement since. Whilst most modifications have been aimed at improving her usability as a cruising yacht, a strict weight budget of one ton was adhered to in order not to overly affect her sailing characteristics.

Summer 2018 did she did some Med cruising, mainly arround the France and the Balearics prior to going into an intensive service completed by the end of October 2018.

June 2017 the yacht has completed her pre-season service. New items include a new Bimini and frame, new dinghy and outboard and a new North jib sail.
