Race for a Good Cause
Get ready for the 18th Annual Leverick Bay Poker Run! Taking place on Sunday, May 26, 2019, this hugely anticipated event welcomes participants from all over the Caribbean and beyond. So much more than a race, it’s practically become a national holiday: Launching from Virgin Gorda, boaters speed off to neighboring islands, each picking up one playing card per stop. Upon their return to Leverick Bay Hotel & Marina, the team with the best poker hand wins. In its first year, the Poker Run drew in 12 competitors and has since swelled to more than 250 boats and over 2,000 gleeful spectators. Proceeds will benefit the Virgin Gorda Charitable Trust.
