Likely candidates will have the appropriate experience, knowledge and understanding of accounting functions within a fast growing and fast-paced yachting organization, including closings. This is a full-time, permanent position with shore- based salary appropriate to qualifications and experience.

DUTIES:

  • Accurately prepare, code and process customer invoices
  • Review Charter Agreements for completeness and accuracy
  • Analyze & balance disbursement of funds
  • Daily setup of domestic & international wire transfers
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Assist with monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of Broker in House Sales Reports
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly commission reports
  • Other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • 2 Year Minimum Accounts Receivable experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • Experience in the yachting industry preferred
  • Acumatica or similar ERP systems experience
