Northrop & Johnson is seeking a Head of Digital, Lead Generation & Content, with a fanatical focus on customer experience. The company has undergone rapid transition over the past years with a transformational shift in strategy to embrace and exploit new digital marketing opportunities. As we continue to quickly evolve and grow in the digital arena, we need to ensure a fully cohesive and coordinated approach, uniting our digital efforts, and synchronizing them seamlessly with all the aspects of our current marketing mix, including video production, strategic partnerships, communications, events & public relations. Our Head of Digital, Lead Generation & Content is responsible for developing and implementing innovative and integrated digital marketing strategies to drive lead generation and engagement with a customer centric mindset. This leader will direct and manage a cross functional team to identify and reach desired target audiences and deliver quality leads to our sales organization via all channels and marketing touchpoints. This role is responsible for creating captivating content that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target audience by using data analytics to continually optimize and manage our corporate website and digital marketing efforts in line with our business needs. We are searching for a strategic thinker one of which is creative, highly motivated, collaborative, and an insatiably curious self-starter committed to our collective success. This role fits an experienced people manager who can inspire others (but still hands on) and take our digital channels to new levels as we continue to grow.

Technical acumen and experience managing various marketing technology stacks and Customer Experience Platforms is required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, Conversica/Conversational AI, Intercom, Customer Journeys, Digital Asset Management, AI Marketing, Digital Ad Platforms, Sales & Marketing Alignment, Conversion Rate Optimization and Growth Hacking will be a significant benefit. This leader will work closely with our internal sales team to ensure alignment and partnership to deliver a high volume of quality marketing generated leads to our sales teams, leveraging rich professional experience and best practices.


The candidate will provide direction in all areas of digital marketing & content strategy and execution. Strategy experience with digital marketing, website development, content, paid media, social and SEO marketing trends and best practices to serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Will also work cross-functionally to implement and oversee 360 campaigns supporting the organization, ensuring that all elements of our marketing activity, both digital and non-digital, are integrated and harmonized. Must have the agility to optimize programs on a regular basis to maximize ROI and report on campaign progress. Sets benchmarks and regularly reports on success metrics for management review.



  • Drive the development and implementation of a captivating digital & content strategy that effectively engages customers and generate leads, aligning with our business objectives and targets.
  • Oversees the execution, maintenance and continuous of our global digital strategy, ensuring that tools and applications are designed and functional to provide an optimal user experience while staying up to date with emerging trends in web and digital platforms.
  • Maintains a singular focus on exploiting digital opportunities whilst also ensuring the coordinated implementation of all activity across digital, video, media, and partnerships as well as marketing communications, events, and print.
  • Strategically optimizes corporate website, SEO, and digital advertising on an ongoing basis to maximize inbound leads, quality, and conversion rates.
  • Manages Digital & content budget, vendor partnerships and contracts to allocate resources efficiently and drive results.
  • Generates innovative ideas to increase conversions.
  • Develop and execute a paid media strategy to enhance visibility and reach.
  • Understands the development process and can manage timelines, in house teams, agencies, project scope and budget to ensure timely execution.
  • Experience with SEO; defining goals and objectives and implementing and optimizing overall strategy.
  • Lead a team of experts to successfully implement campaigns, ensuring they align with overall strategy and deliver. content to the right audience through the appropriate channels.
  • Ensures that all marketing leads are being distributed and tracked for maximum ROI.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns, client satisfaction and engagement, identify areas of improvement and report on KPIs.
  • Promotes and demonstrates the behaviors consistent with N&J’s culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 10+ years of B2B and B2C digital marketing experience in emerging digital platforms, interactive marketing or digital platform management and strategy, UX design, and/or technical web development in a global corporate or agency environment
  • Success leading highly effective teams focused on delivering measurable results.
  • Proven knowledge in understanding lead flow and optimizing / tracking the buyer’s journey required.
  • Proven knowledge in Customer Experience Platforms.
  • Experience working with various database and content management systems.
  • Proven experience and success with project planning / project management.
  • Must have some understanding of the technical workings of digital properties including but not limited to: HTML, CSS3, UI design, UX design, blogs, and analytic programs.
  • Experience using Dynamics 365 and HubSpot is a big plus.
  • Prepared to provide examples of previous campaigns and success metrics.
  • Willing to complete an exercise to demonstrate abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.
