Van Cleef & Arpels Revives the Classic Maison Cadenas

Navigator News > Company News

Van Cleef & Arpels has revived this impressive style from Maison with a selection of nine impressive pieces in its new Cadenas collection.

The distinguished double snake chain acts a bracelet and the attachment forms a padlock. Bold and contemporary, the 2015 edition does include detailed changes to the stone setting, clasp and dial. The dial is now more pronounced for easier visibility and offers 12-hour markets. Additionally, two ceramic beads inside the hidden polished clasp, which can be discreetly engraved, provide safer fastening for a more secure feel.

The Van Cleef & Arpels Cadenas watch is powered by a quartz movement with a mother of pearl face; the collection offers nine varieties to choose from; each with its own impressive variations, including alligator straps, larger jewel adornments and so on.

The classic Cadenas is stunning in yellow gold with either the classic double snake chain or an alligator strap. The Cadenas Sertie is available in yellow or white gold. This modern styling boasts diamonds in serti type neige, which adorn the upper area of the face casing. This version is available with the double snake chain or with the alligator strap, which has additional diamonds on the attachment. The Cadenas Pavée’s upper surface is adorned with princess-cut diamonds and round diamonds on the case, clasp and dial. The traditional double snake chain is offered in white gold; it also is available with an alligator strap. A pink version is available with pink sapphires and diamonds.
