Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Wrap Up 2022

Posted November 14, 2022 in Company by Morgan Crowe

Hailed as the largest yacht show in the world, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was the place to be October 26 to 30 for yachting enthusiasts. We were delighted to again be in attendance, providing our clients with our Signature Experience and the opportunity to view some of the world’s most opulent superyachts for sale and charter.

We kicked off the week with our annual Captain’s Cocktail party at the Northern Trust terrace. More than 80 captains mixed and mingled with N&J brokers as well as our event partners. The highlight of the evening was our raffle, where one lucky captain took home a Ulysse Nardin Diver 42mm watch, another a bottle of Herradura Selección Suprema tequila courtesy of Yacht Chandlers and three captains took home Master & Dynamic headphones.

The show opened at noon on Wednesday, October 26th, and we began welcoming clients with our Signature Experience. Providing a seamless show experience, our Signature Experience gave clients easy access to our Signature Show Lounge and Signature Estate on the Intracoastal Waterway. Our clients enjoyed private transportation options, including luxury car service and Maori tenders to and from the show.

We were delighted to have nine yachts on display at the show, eight located at our show lounge and one at the Superyacht Village. Our collection included the impressive 191′ (58.22m) Trinity UNBRIDLED, available for sale and charter; the awe-inspiring 168′ (51.21m) Feadship GALLANT LADY, available for sale; the exceptional 158′ (48.15m) Feadship GITANA, available for sale; the remarkable 150′ (45.72m) Cheoy Lee QING, available for sale; the striking 140′ (42.67m) Benetti SKYLER, available for sale; the outstanding 130′ (39.62m) Heesen LIONSHARE, available for sale and charter; and the stunning 127′ (38.71m) IAG SWEET CAROLINE, available for sale and charter. We also had two new-build Zeelander yachts in our display.

We welcomed students from the New River Middle School on Thursday to tour several of our yachts. We educated the students about the industry and gave them a first-hand look at what the industry is all about.

Friday evening, we hosted our client Signature Cocktail at our Signature Estate. It was a night to remember, with offerings from our partners, great music and a beautiful setting. Our strategic partner Louis XIII offered private toasts of its world-renowned cognac. Ulysse Nardin had guests marveling at their dazzling watches on display and Northern Trust served up a delectable Paella. NetJets and Intellian provided the evening’s signature cocktails while Penfolds served the finest wine and Champagne.

At 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30th, the yachts blew their horns, signaling the end of the show. Thank you to everyone who attended the show and we hope to see you on the docks at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March.
