SALES BROKER MARCUS OVERMAN JOINS NORTHROP & JOHNSON

From a very young age, Marcus spent his time around the water. Born in Brighton in the UK, but raised in, Sydney, Australia, Marcus spent his day surfing, sailing and enjoying life by the sea. When Marcus was 20 years old, he started his career in the marine industry as a watersports instructor on Hayman island In the Whitsundays near the Great Barrier Reef. From there, he expanded his repertoire, from teaching sailing on Sydney Harbour to delivering yachts up and down the east coast of Australia. Marcus then started working for a global sailing charter company that took him around world. In 2002, he landed in Phuket, Thailand, where he stayed with his wife Linda and two children.

Having worked in Asia in the dealership and brokerage sector of the industry since 2005, Marcus is ready to pass on his vast knowledge to pair the right boat with the right owner who is keen to explore the exotic waters of Southeast Asia.
