Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 131’ (39.95m) Holland Jachtbouw sailing yacht RAINBOW by Yacht Broker Ann Avery, acting on behalf of the seller.

Illustrating exemplary Dutch artistry and impressive performance, along with plenty of industry award-wins under her belt, RAINBOW is a yacht unlike any other. Her design and build are courtesy of Holland Jachtbouw and Dykstra Naval Architects, paying respect to the original J Class yacht RAINBOW that won America’s Cup in 1934. RAINBOW was properly built to participate in J Class racing as well as cruise and charter.

RAINBOW’s impressive features extend beyond her exterior build and performance capabilities; she is also eco-conscious. She is the first J Class to have an innovative hybrid propulsion and power system, and her batteries can be charged while sailing, reducing her carbon footprint.

The sailing yacht’s classic interior draws inspiration from the Golden Age of Yachting, featuring Mahogany panels and stained oak cabin soles. The 1930s styling can be seen throughout all areas of the yacht, effortlessly combining traditional elegance with modern luxury and comfort. RAINBOW’s raised deck salon offers excellent visibility for guests with 360-degree views. Her main salon is a comfortable locale, ideal for guests to unwind, socialize and enjoy formal meals at the eight-person dining table.

RAINBOW’s three charming cabins welcome eight guests to spend restful nights onboard. The full-beam master suite is spacious, elegant and filled with plenty of storage. Her additional accommodations comprise two cabins with twin beds and Pullmans. RAINBOW’s vast deck spaces offer alfresco dining aft and forward.
