Patricia Finnegan

My Present 
Hi, I’m Trish Finnegan and I have worked at N&J as a Charter Broker for the past five years. My years of experience working on board busy charter boats has given me an incredible understanding of how to pair clients with the perfect yacht, crew and itinerary to create the trip of a lifetime. I am passionate about going the extra mile to make sure that my client’s needs are met. Having young children, I love coordinating multigenerational charters that get everyone together to create unforgettable memories.

My Past
I grew up in Connecticut and spent my childhood on the coast. As such, boats and sailing became second nature. I’m an animal lover; during my high school years, I seized an opportunity to spend a winter tagging sea turtles on a sailboat cruising The Bahamas. While there, I met many people who worked on yachts, and my interest in the industry was piqued.
After majoring in Human Services at George Washington University in Washington DC, I began a career in public relations for a hotel company, but I couldn’t get yachting out of my mind. After a few years, I went to Mexico to pursue my dreams and took my first assignment at sea. I embarked on an exciting career as a stewardess, then chief stewardess and purser, onboard luxury yachts. My yachting travels have taken me to Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, The Bahamas, the Mediterranean and New England. After eight years at sea, I decided to pursue a career on land; charter brokerage was a natural progression. I now live in north Palm Beach and work out of N&J’s Palm Beach office.

My Future
I would like to do more traveling with my kids get back involved in the community to help more people get out on the water.
