Christine Hodgson

My Present 
Hi! My name is Christine Hodgson. My job as a Crew Services Agent at N&J is to find crew their dream positions. It’s all about matchmaking the crew member with the vessel's overall dynamics to create that perfect fit. I thoroughly enjoy helping new crew get started in the industry whether it is just giving them solid advice on how to write their CV so it gets noticed or advising on courses to take to make them stronger candidates for their ideal positions. Seeing crew start out and then advance in their careers over the years to become Captains or Heads of Departments is very rewarding.

My Past
I originally came to Fort Lauderdale on holiday shortly after graduating from school. I fell in love with the sunshine, beaches and warm weather and never returned to chilly Michigan. Luckily, I was introduced to a Captain by a mutual friend and found myself captivated by the yachting industry; the rest is history. I spent 15+ years working on yachts and traveling the world. It was an amazing experience and something I would do over again in a minute!
 
My Future
I hope to continue doing what I love, helping crew find their dream positions.
Why I love N&J-
I enjoy the overall family environment at N&J. I love everyone that I work with and feel we all work together with a common goal to succeed and be the best that we can be at our jobs. Everyone is very approachable and always willing to help one another out.
 
My Outside-office Life
Outside work, I love spending time with my husband Tony. We enjoy spending our weekends in the pool when possible and just being together as he travels often as a Captain. I love traveling experiencing new places (and old favorites) and different cultures.
